    Sweet.

You know, for the amount of bad rep Oakleys get around these boards, a lot of people sure to rock them.

I'll forever wear Oakley sunglasses. I've had countless other brands...Bolle, Serengetti, RayBan, etc. While nice, I've never been happy. Plus, the technology in the Oakley lense is amazing. A co-worker of mine tells a story of a pair of jackets stopping a nail...that's enough to keep me buying them.

I'm obsessed with sunglasses although I don't own any "really" expensive ones. I have a handful of cheapies I throw around in the car and take with me, a nice pair of Steve Madden sunglasses, and then a pair of Prada ones I bought last year. The pradas were $190 after tax, and I've really enjoyed them thus far. My true loves are Chanel sunglasses, which I think I am finally going to have to break down and buy, once I can find a timeless classic style.

Those electrics are sick! They're the most comfortable sunglasses I've ever worn. I've got the transparent black ones with the lightning bolt pattern:

  11. 01-30-2007 03:16 PM #46
i got these things, in ash brown:

they were free, my friend got a pair in black and didn't want the brown ones anymore.

Theyre larger than most oakleys... I'd say medium/large overall.

I'll have to give them a try. Hows the sun blockage? It seems alot of glasses today dont seem as dark as they used to be. I guess they still block the sun just as good? I haven't had a real pair of sunglasses in quite some time.

  16. 02-10-2007 08:23 PM #51
I purchased these today (Ray Ban RB3030)...When it comes to shoes and sunglasses I am very picky but these feel like they are just made for me.

Does anyone wear Black Fly's anymore. LOL I haven't bought a pair of sunglasses in over 10 years so that's all I have.

i'm a big Oakley nut and i've been weaing a pair of OOAs since about 2001. they're silver/gunmetal framed with dark blue mirrored lenses. i love them to death. unfortunately, they don't make them anymore and i'm in the market for a new pair, and with prescription lenses, the prescription costs more than the frames themselves. also, the OOAs were flat-fronts and not wrap style, which with my prescription are the only type i can wear.

Lots of people love to hate Oakley, but they can't be beat for snowboarding.

Oakley Straight Jacket - mine are cream with gold polarized lenses

Oakley Minute - Silver with Black

Dragon Trap - Tortoise with Brown

Arnette Stance - Dark Leopard with Polarized Brown lens

Arnette Trooper - silver with black
