the place i live is pretty cool. i made sure before i moved in. the area right behind my cars is where they tell us to work on our cars. they dont care for people working on there cars, but they understand that sometimes theres a need. me i just have the need a little more than others. behind the parking area behind my cars there is a big hill behind that is a place where people have abandoned there cars. the neighborhood heathens have gone back there and busted the cars up pretty badly. i have changed the suspension on the rocco 3 times tring to get it right. the rabbit doesnt even have a motor, should have one soon as lee does his vr swap. that will be going in the car right where it sits right now. i will do it later in the day when the office is closed since it is only two door down from me.

Im sure they dont like me to do this stuff, but I would have to care for that to matter.

There is a dude that bartends at my bar sometimes that is South African and he sounds like hes from Boston.

I've done bunch of work, including numerous brake jobs, a full suspension swap, and a motor swap at my complex, and they didn't say anything. One day I was out and working on my car, the maintainence guy comes up on his golf cart and tells me its OK to work on my car as long as I don't leave any oil/fluid stains and I pick up all the tools/parts/trash when I'm done. I also have to put the car back together so that it doesn't look like its being worked on when I'm finished (no leaving it on jackstands, etc). They are cool with it because my parking lot is in the back and not visible from the road.

One of my friends got a fine for doing a transmission swap, because he was working in an area visible from the road, and he left a big puddle of transmission fluid on the ground

VW's are proof of miracles. Most of the cars on the Vortex leave a double rainbow behind in the parking spot.

Well looking at it in the daylight I can definitely tell a difference in the angle of the rear passenger side. Im just wondering if its crabwalking (cripwalkin' for you pimps) cause of just the alignment or the driverside A-arm is a diff length than the passenger I put on or the damn subframe is bent. Ill find out when I put the new ball joints and the other A-arm on the car. This car is really starting to be not worth it, but I had to fill my Corrado void again.

Will be posting up the Jetta's progress soon. I have all the parts, just need the time to do it.

    Heres the list:
    TT 268 cam
    mkIV lifters (A4 for Andy)
    dual downpipe and manifold
    BMW 528 MAF
    new valve stem seals
    10.1 brakes

    Pics comming soon.

Are you working on that today? You forgot to mention the new cat . I didn't know you had planned on putting the 10.1's on the Jetta, I thought you sold them to Brian Or did you have 2 sets?

I guess once you get the Jetta done you will have to start on the Fox so you can have 2 projects going on at once again

    hail yeah!

nothing like being sprawled out in an apartment complex parking lot trying to remove your rear bumper with people driving by a couple feet from.. your feet.

that encompasses parking lots too, you're taking the words too literally...it's the idea of getting your hands dirty and doing it, where ever that might be!
