2 polos from American Eagle. Normally wouldn't buy anything from that store, but they were only $20 bucks each and they fit very well.

Yessir they are. I love em but I have a couple pairs too many right now and I'm a broke college kid haha.

Just got these last week and I'm loving them. Currently a gym only shoe but when nice weather hits and they are broken in I'll rock em outside.

this is the statement everyone on here should live by. make your car to how you want and what makes you happy. nothing else matters.

All my work shoes are Cole Haan...I'm up to 6 or 7 pairs at this point. And yeah, definitely more comfortable than most. They also tend to last me longer than other brands. I've got a pair of those pictured as well...just from an earlier year.

    I did the same thing!

I was just thinking the other day how there is a lot of clothes I like but could never get away with. I'd never try to wear cowboy boots, but those (and the above shoes) are all very nice.

I have wondered before how common cowboy boots are in other places.
They are pretty typical here. Very flexible footwear in my opinion. They work for dress or work. Comfy. Easy to put on and take off (with proper fit ). Extremely tough. No stupid laces to worry about. And boots with an extended heal keep your jeans off the ground.

I ordered a pair of these on a whim off of Gilt. Converse laceless slip-on sneakers in brown twill. Almost all of my sneakers are black or dark gray and I got these for less than $50 shipped.

Really want to pick up a pair of these: Adidas Y-3 Honja Lows, but justifying their price is a little tough for a pair of sneakers ($175-220 depending on retailer)...

I'm a big fan of Converse All-Stars and have them in a rainbow of colors. been wearing them 25 year or so. Now, the flatness of them is starting to really hurt my old feet. Its nearly impossible to put a decent insole in a Chuck because of the canvas.
So, I've been looking for a "classic" looking shoe that doesnt hurt as soon a I put them on.
I went to the mall over the weekend and found these-
    Adidas Neo, Clemente Fresh Lo

So far, I love them, quite cushy (to me) still fairly flat, but some support.

Gilt might be bad news for my wallet... Just picked up a WeSC chambray shirt, Maui & Sons board shorts, and a few t-shirts. Perfect motivation to start getting in shape and to lose the winter coat.

I believe it was when you were looking at field jackets and/or a waxed cotton bag.

    haha yup

I've been making monthly donations to Jcrew ever since. I need to get off their email list, when the 30% sales come around that does me in.

almost need a bigger armoir now

Yeah, I don't bother opening them anymore until I need something.

Still have my oilcloth field jacket from them. Never did end up buying one of their bags though. There was a leather work bag I was eyeing, but I had signed up to get Coach emails before Xmas (great for gifts to wife, mother, etc), and never got off their list. They emailed me about a sale and gave an extra 20% off coupon, so I jumped on this instead. Not my most recent pickup obviously, but its been serving me well as a work laptop/briefcase/messenger thing.

Just put my order in for one of these. It'll be sitting on my bed waiting for me when i come home from Afghanistan, a nice "weclome home" gift to myself.

Picked up a couple of linen shirts from Brooks Brothers a few weeks back during their recent sale, and after a few washings and wearings on vacation the last week or so, they are fantastic.

Gilt has actually worked out to be a pretty nice site for me. Returned the Converse as they were too narrow at the toe, but picked up various stuff like new boardshorts, shirts, etc.

Picked up a killer pair of flipflops off there from Vintage Shoe COmpany; handmade, nicest leather, and made in USA!

Prepaid return labels and great customer service also are a big

Also, Gilt has their 'house' brand, Benjamins, that makes basic stuff at great prices. Picked up a lightweight cotton hoodie for $19, great soft cotton, waffle pattern henley on the inside, perfect weight. Definitely browse this site in the morning to see what is available. Not the best sales, but still some deals.

Not to sound too spam-y, but posted my pickups from there and gave my impressions of the site as most of those discount sites seem a bit shady.

    Standard trench from Banana.

They had 40% off yesterday so I ordered one online. It seems to be better made than the coats they had last year and the removable lining is quite warm.
