we cut brodney pool today. looks like church will start and your rookie will rotate once hes healthy again. matt johnson i think is his name...
Claiborne and Carr are going to be the reason our defense will GREATLY improve this year. The offense isn't kicking on all cylinders though, we need Witten healthy and possibly pick up Plax (with Austin being injured).
Predictions for tonight?
In games like this, I think of what would piss me off the most, and that is usually what happens.
So I'll say 16-13 Giants in OT.
Won't get to bed until late (eastern time here). Sleep restlessly thinking about the interception/penalty/not calling timeout/calling timeout/blocked punt/blocked kick that cost them the game.
Yes, I'm getting pretty pessimistic when it comes to the Cowboys. To my credit, it has taken 15 years of losing to get me to this point.
I'm loving this team. Even with all the penalties they managed to take out the Giants at home.
Some things to work on but I'm very happy with how the O-Line held up.
Big things this season hopefully! Hello secondary!
Good win over a tough division rival that's had our number as of late...that being said I'd like to see better play by that offensive line or Romo is gonna get hammered. I am however glad to see the secondary additions looked good as did most of the defense hopefully they continue to improve and take it to Seattle
Don't know what to say about that game
Nothing went well:
Felix Jones - Does he do anything anymore
Defensive Playcalling (only blitzed 6 times all game??? The key last year to Ryan not blitzing was that the corners couldn't cover, what is the excuse this year??)
This team has to get things going or they will get walked all over.
Not a pretty win but a win none the less...defense looked good albeit against the bucs...offense needs to clean up the penalties and needs to start getting on track...that offensive line needs to improve or Romo's not gonna make it through the entire season. Next up is Chicago and they're defense is lookin good.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve"
Last night was a big letdown I was really hoping this team would be 4/0 or atleast 3/1 heading into the bye when the schedule came out...the sad part is this team has the ability to beat both teams they lost to and should've handled Tampa much better than it did. Through the first 3 games I was laying alot of fault at the feet of the offensive line and all the penalties but last night the line actually did well...or atleast better than they did the 3 previous weeks anyhow and penalties were way down and the end result of cleaning up those areas? they get crushed by the Bears not taking anything away from Chicago cuz they're obviously a decent team and I'm not saying we couldn't lose to them but just not lose to them in that fashion
I can't quite pinpoint what is wrong with this team...players? coaching? scheme's? all the above? this team obviously has ALOT of work to do during the bye because the schedule isn't going to get any easier. What needs to be done I don't know but something needs to be done...alot needs to be done.
Romo definitely had a bad game but this all can't be put on him. He was under pressure all night and his receivers definitely didn't help him out. I can't remember how many times on third down that either Dez Bryant or Kevin Ogletree dropped catchables balls that would have given the Cowboys a first down.
I think they will bounce back after the bye, though. And we have to remember that as of now the Cowboys hold the tie breaker over the Giants. If the Cowboys can handle the NFC East this year they have a shot at making the playoffs.
Big game tomorrow with the Ravens...hopefully they got some of their issues resolved during the bye or its gonna be a long day...also hopefully Romo comes out of this game without getting killed...time for the offensive line to step up.
not a pretty win but a win none the less...next up is the gmen and Dallas better have their $hit together for this game or they don't stand a chance...Giants are undefeated at Cowboys stadium
Man. This team is just SO frustrating.
When Romo hit Dez on that pass at the back of the end zone I jumped off of the couch so fast that I nearly spilled my last beer. I had to hold myself back from jumping around the apartment.
How long do you think Garret sticks with Romo if he continues to put the team in a hole with early turnovers?
