You da man. I'd really like to get an intake done in black plastic or black texture like the 2.0T guys have.

this intake isn't black plastic like the evoms intake the eurosport is powdercoated with a black wrinkle finish. it should last a very long time.

hey hubert i finally go the chance to install mine. fits perfectly. it makes the car sound mean too.
if only the stupid stock crap came off easier i would have been happier. damn engine cover and turbo hose made my hands get all cut up.
ohy and supplicium on their website it says the MkIV rear stress bar(the one that goes inside the trunk) fits on the MkV. and i dont think they have a rear sway bar but i'm sure it's on their LONG list of parts in development

Supplicium - I took that photo rather quickly for many of you...just to show what "polished ceramic" looked like- & yes we do have the H&R front and rear sway bars-
Hkysk-
VW Spyder & others - No sheild from us. Reason being, if you look at VW's factory design of the grille (top corner near left headlamp), you'll notice there is an air-duct that shoots towards the inlet area of our Race Intake. If there were to be a heat sheild, you would negate any of the "fresh" cold air flowing towards this inlet area during normal driving speeds. Making a shield would block the "fresh" air directed at the Euro Sport Race Cool-Flo inlet....Oh, not to mention the additional costs you'd have to pay for (sheild/hardware) you, the consumers...Not needed w/ our intake~

Looks good but $58 for shipping?

25. 03-02-2007 12:29 PM #25
Inhart - make sure you don't have an "express option" clicked...that pricing sounds to be express shipping...GROUND shipping to WA would be around $15 or less...
