Samurai 7 is a good series, but don't expect every episode to closely resemble the first. Just letting you know. Better character development throughout the series compared to some other series out there.

    FYI:
If I remember correctly all the major races make up Initial D Battle Stages. Battle Stage 2 are the races from Stage 4 series and I think it had something extra. I have to go back and watch that one.

I've read tuning a AE86 just right is key. Other than that they are not that great. Don't feel bad the series had me reading up on them when it first came out in Japan. Oh yeah take look at anything with this guy, Keiichi Tsuchiya's name and AE86. http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...=tsuchiya+ae86

I use to watch these touge battles because of this show..

I already don't like the new animation style of season 2 of Intial D. Characters are drawn different, more CG... idk.

Yeah it did change. The storyline should keep you interested and how he gets into other battles and so on. I'm not going to spoil it.

You guys are going to make me watch this again from the beginning. Not that I wouldn't mind, because it was a great series, just too much to watch right now.

Has anybody watched Mobile Suit Gundam UC (OAV)? I'm about to add that to my list.

They added 2 of Keisuke's races which were in the manga but not anime. It was his race against the R34 25GT Skyline and the Integra DC2.

I also liked Samurai 7 so much that I ended up buying the box set.

Same... they drew Ryosuke exactly like Takumi in season 2.

Finished Stage 2. Onto the Movie. This show just keeps getting better and better. Wish they'd really just stop changing the way they draw the characters

    Fooly Cooly!

Just watched this series on Netflix. It's only 6-7 episodes, but it's off the wall. I remember catching an episode or two back in the day when it was on Adult Swim.

I'm currently watching Deadman Wonderland. It's getting good, I've only watched 4 out of 5 eps. that have been released so far. I'm reading the manga too and the action should pick up in the next couple of episodes like it did in the manga. I'm also keeping up with Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas which is currently on episode 19.
A little preview of Deadman Wonderland

Same here on Deadman Wonderland. I haven't checked out Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas. Trying to keep up with at least 11 series right now.

Episode 12 is the last of Deadman Wonderland? Will there be a second season? I tried watching the X-men anime but I couldn't get into it for some reason. I will check out the others you mentioned. I'm also on ep 23 of Saint Seiya Lost Canvas and it seems like every 2 eps at least one good guy dies, I definitely recommends this to anyone.

I keep hearing good things about Saint Seiya Lost Canvas. I guess I should start watching it.

No word on second season for Deadman Wonderland. I hope there is. I found out over the weekend that Funimation picked up the rights for U.S. release in 2012 and will be streaming it from there website later this year.

If I have time I need to start reading Manga again.

FMA as in the first Full Metal Alchemist? If so you really need to watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. It follows the manga closely and is way better than FMA.

Last week's Bleach episode #366 marks the end of the TV Series run. The TV series started in 2004 and ended last week which also concludes the Fullbringer arc.

The manga is still on going but will be covering the last arc of the Bleach story.

I like it finally has an ending... a pretty good ending too. Unlike Naruto that I already got bored and stop following LONG time ago.

BTW, anyone like mystery/horror should watch Another (not the usual school life anime...)
    http://www.animeseason.com/another/
Twenty-six years ago, in a third-year classroom of a middle school, there was a student named Misaki. As an honors student who was also good at sports, the charming girl was popular with her classmates. When she suddenly died, her classmates decided to carry on as if she was still alive until graduation. Then, in the spring of 1998, a boy named Sakakibara Kouichi transfers to that classroom, and he grows suspicious of the fearful atmosphere in that classroom. In particular, there is a beautiful, aloof girl named Mei Misaki who wears an eyepatch and is always alone drawing pictures.
I also start watching Ozuma. If you like the submarine battle in The Hunt of Red October, you will love this. You will also recognize the characters drawing style are very much like Galaxy Express 999 and Space Battleship Yamato because Ozuma is also written by Leiji Matsumoto. So this anime give me a kind of "retro" feel.
    http://www.animeseason.com/ozuma/
Sam Coin witnesses how a young women named Maya is relentlessly pursued by several Theseus Sand-borne Destroyers when an Ozma, a gigantic sand whale, surfaces cutting them off. Sam only barely saves Maya from being buried by sand, and the Theseus army, believing her to have died in the incident, seems to give up the search... Sam brings Maya to Port Oase, a still thriving independent town, placed in a rock canyon. Neither Mimei a good friend nor Captain Binas are thrilled by the sudden appearance of mysterious Maya... and when the Theseus army shows up, the chase for the sand pirate ship, Bardanos, with Maya on board is on.

One WTF anime finished (Black Rock Shooter) onto the next (Nazo no Kanojo X).

I'm behind on new series. Need to catch up on "Another", "Ino x Boku SS", "Daily Lives of High School Boys", "Brave10", "Aquarion Evol", "Recorder and Randsell", "The Knight in the Area" & "Baby, Please Kill Me!"

Thought I would post the Spring 2012 Anime Preview Guide.

I recently finished Samurai Shamploo and Gungrave.

Samurai Shamploo was very well made but it seemed pointless. Still it was enjoyable most of the time.

Gungrave was pretty good but could have been cut to 18 episodes IMO. The end made me sad
