ill be at the shop saturday at elast....sunday depending on exactly what i need to finish up (if anything) although we are definitely able to meet up there and you all are welcome to do stuff to your cars if you want...i have a little vacuum with attachments etc. and i also took a water hose from work to use this weekend...figured id wash the jetta once i know its gonna be running ok. you all know my number...feel free to call...

tony i saw ya while i was at the bark park yesterday.....goin down the street popping the BOV off....lol

also, anyone plan on going to the car show sat or sun? if so, id like to join...prolly sunday ill go if i dont have to work on the car....time will tell

THE CAR IS AT HOMEEEEEEEEEE

finished up a bunch of little things, let it run for a bit...ticking is totally gone. got the other axle in....went fine. ian showed up and helped me bleed my brakes....they were all rusted etc. and rub little but that will go away after a little time. ill still be there tomorrow finishing up...gotta put my radio in, finish up getting the door cards on, etc.

running excellent!! needs an alignment really bad, and i already said the rusty brakes....probably gonna end up throwing new pads and rotors on soon....just wanna drive it around make sure the driveablility is all there.

the only other problem is lights.....pass HL doesnt work at all, drivers side are fine. think i smoked a relay or a fuse when i arced out the wrench tightening the battery last weekend.

stock lights and grille are on until i figure out the light situation, then the new grille and ecodes are going on.

other than that, ill be there tomorrow around noon getting stuff in order. as always, anyone is welcomed to come down. im definitely washing her down tomorrow, so the hose as well as soap, etc is available to all.

Yea nick, saw your car at the bark park on the way to school so i figured i would rev it up a time or two lol. I have just quit one of my jobs THINK GOD! so i will have alot more time on my hands to do what i want so i really want to start working on a GTG. Even as far as getting Drunken Dubs from Charleston and maybe some charlotte people down.

FINALLY found the kid i had seen at kangaroo who was driving the audi wagon...used to work for EIP tuning. left a note on his car to call me....so hopefully well have another member for our GTGs and hopefully well all be going to raleigh for the BFI meet n greet.

Nah its in Carolina Forest and im deff getting that ****... Hopefully friday. I test drove it tonight. that thing really has some get up compared to the ol 2.slo haha but who didnt know that... well wish me luck!

yooo tony got the situation with the vagcom fixed....AND i also fixed my throttle cable....and i forgot how fast a vr6 really is....honestly with all the slack that was there i think i was MAYBE getting about 40% throttle....no joke. i tightened up the slack and now i can finally hit WOT. gotta give you a ride man feel and hear what ****ing torque is like

gimme a ring...if you arent busy tonight maybe we can meet up and try the vagcom agian...ill go to you if ya want instead of you coming all te way here.

oh totally forgot.....i got robbed sometime this week i went into the garage today (where my car was at) and noticed a few things were "off". looked around a bit, noticed that ALL my tools were gone, as well as both of my droplights, and some other random stuff. THEN i noticed box for my smoked ecodes was gone too...i was liek W T F. looked around more, saw both of them laying face down on the garage floor....seems whoever broke in dumped them out to use the box to carry stuff. my amp and sub got stolen too, and they ripped apart the mk2 looking for stuff and cleaned it out of tools etc.

the ****ers even took my 3 jugs of pentosin g12.

still got the ecodes and vento grille though
