Haha yea Good news i went to a Junkyard in bumb**** today and scored a Nice Black GTI door needs a lil tin work and i got a set of Nuespeed wires for $5 bucks how awesome is that haha but i am gonna need help putting that door on and where can i get the GIAC should i go to GIAC or somewhere else?

Just found out there's a GIAC shop in Charleston, was gonna get APR at the BFI bbq this weekend, but plans have changed and I will be at work instead of rollin up to NC

sigh...have fun guys, maybe will get together soon elsewhere.

get the GIAC from autotech...theyre about the cheapest. you need to take your raintray off and get the ECU number...but thats no biggie. i can help you set the door too.

brad is in bellegrove, ian is in conway, im near the back gate...the best way to get to raleigh is take rt. 701 which starts in like loris or something...but i know where it is. i guess we should know who is driving and who isnt. i have no problem driving...so anyone who doesnt wanna drive can hop in with me.

feel free to gimme a ring and well see whats up. i guess the best place to meet would be around lowes (501), also since its a place anyone who isnt driving can leave their car without any trouble, unless someone needs a ride and i can pick them up. either way, call me at some point in the week people we need to get up there.

were going to the black forest bbq/grand opening in raleigh. its saturday. leaving around 9am or so. best way to go is rt 701 through the back roads kinda. ive driven it a few times to the airport etc in raleigh. it takes about 3 hours....but i was in a POS buick....not in either of my dubs. i think lowes on 501 is a good central meeting place. also, if anyone needs to leave a car its a great place to do so.

yea me too....but i guess well ahve to have a good time by ourselves.

i was looking at mapquest, and i think were going to go 17 into wilmington, then up to raleigh through 40. seems easier, and probably a better ride. ive never been further than cherry grove on 17, so itll be nice to see what else is on the road....i can tell you that taking 701 is BORING. id rather it maybe take a little longer and actually see stuff, than see nothing at all.

i have the trans out right now, im putting a act 6 puck clutch in it. i bought one from another vortex member but he shafted me, told me it would fit and it ends up it for a 2.0 so im selling it if any of yous want it 90 bucks. im wrapping up my g60 swap and will be ready for a meet shortly. nice to know there are fellow dubbers in town
