Cool! I found 2 orange 62 Bugs! One as an error (packaged facing the opposite way). Here are my matchbox finds.

And here are my hot wheels finds for the day... My bro hooked me up with the batmobile and porsche cayman.

Just curious, how common are errors in matchbox packaging? Yesterday I saw a Bilstein Van with the beetle 4x4 package/card.

I'm not sure, but I saw a HW Ferrari 599 that didn't have staggered wheel sizes (all 4 were larger when the fronts should have been smaller) and I saw it going for like $13 on eBay heh

I have some errors from racing champions in 1990

FYI racing champions is another company from ertl. For many years they made NASCAR die cast.

if you all remember in 1990 Tom Cruise Movie "Days Of Thunder"

racing champions manufactured the toys for the movie of the 46 city chevolet, 46 superflo motor oil, 51 exxon, 18 hardees, and 51 mello yello.

well I have the 51 mello yello, 18 hardees, and 46 city chevrolet
none of these cars existed in real NASCAR
accept the mello yello car was number 46 and driven by Kyle Petty

packaged in 1992 blister packs containing drivers from the 1992 winston cup series and a little stand.

You don't find much error cars, when you find something like that you want to keep on to it. Its going to be worth a hefty wad of cash one day

I see more errors on hot wheels than matchbox. A matchbox package error would be something I would grab, just because.

Cool! Was it a Super Treasure Hunt? I found a regular Skyline T-Hunt but really was hoping for a Super T-Hunt.

Anyways, here are today's finds: Check out the HW 2 Pack packaging error...

They're fun to have. I have a few other 'friday packaging' errors. If they're worth something someday, i'll consider selling them. For now, I'll enjoy looking at the errors.

Picked these up today and for $0.79 each!

Does anyone know what cars can come in the mystery cars? Is there anything in them that you can't normally get otherwise?

I was reading in last months EuroTuner that there is going to be a Hot Wheels car based on one of the MKV GTi's that they did a spread on last month....I can't recall which one it was but aparently they have contacted the owner and done a preliminary shoot or something...I'll have to try and remember to check it out when I get home...or...anyone got last months edition handy..?..
