it's a Spark model that appears to be a dealer promotional item. plenty on ebay though:

Very nice indeed. There's a guy who's semi-local to me that has not only a Rallye (purported to be the only US-spec one ever built) but iirc, he also has a Golf Country. Very spiffy stuff.

They're both Otto Models resin pieces from Europe. I've found mine on Ebay & gotten them for some pretty decent prices. There's a couple more I'd like to get (Ottenger Mk1, Series 2 Scirocco, Audi RS2), but I'm waiting for the right price. I may have to keep an eye out for a second Mk3 to mod up like my own car.

dayum, i dont collect anymore but thats pretty. has it been released yet?

  14. 07-08-2012 02:50 PM #8204
The Boxster has been released and should be easy to find at wal-mart and toys'r'us.

  15. 07-10-2012 07:44 AM #8205
Cool ! I never knew that "Hotwheels" also designs the cars of famous brands. I just knew that this toy company makes just toy cars and not any specific models. However I enjoyed watching each and every photos posted out here.

Hot Wheels has a really good relationship with Ferrari. They really started making more detailed cars about 10 years ago. You can view every car released by year here

The Boulevard series takes a while to get distributed. But you can buy one at milezone.com. They are reputable in the diecast community and I have made several orders with them.

Thanks Lithium Lotus for providing this great link. Its totally my insanity that I was not aware of the fact that hot wheels has a great relation with Ferrari. Its for this reason that I found such collections of cars over here. Seems that I am running late.

$4.99 Rite Aid Score. The bottom was screwed on, so modding it was a breeze. I've got some smaller wheels I'll try on to get it lower.

They had loads of these 1:43 Welly 965 models at Rite Aid for $3.99 /ea. Grabbed 'em all.

Did some work on this 1:18 beetle in the bedroom:

A few weeks back I picked up a few of the Ferrari 599xx "Secret" Treasure Hunts. Anyone interested in a trade for one of the Secret TH Tooned Beetle (as shown in blackwabbit's post above)?

I'm not really a collector but I do pick up hot wheels every so often. Is the bmw 2002 really that special? I seen 2 or 3 almost every time I go to walmart

I scored a 62 beetle at an antique for 1 dollar lol

and also brought home with me some hot wheels last time at walmart:
    Toyota AE86
BMW 2002 (orange cuz I hadn't seen that one before)
    2012 Beetle
    Dodge challenger drift
    Datsun bluebird 510

    Edit for pics
