What adapter do you need? Both sides of my tray do both bars, It was on a yakima and I just recently swapped it to my Allroad's Thule bars. I think we got ours around the same time.

Yay Carl! I've been meaning to post in the event about that.

Core food is provided by MC Photography but by all means, everyone can bring "accessories", chips, a 2 liter of pop, your favorite beer, etc... bearing in mind a potentially spirited cruise is to follow so take it easy on the beer

Not lame, I'd rock a subtle one. As referenced by the sign further down, our name is/was North Shore VW Society, NSVS, a rather annoying sticker in either form. I'd be into some 218 are code reference too.

Good questions... I've known many of the core Duluth guys for 7 or 8 years, can't speak for everyone though. As far as our section of highway, that's a Dubswede question I think. I too am curious. If it's still ours we should resume that before the snow sets in.

yeah, something subtle is what I was thinking... Not sure what would be a good logo of sorts to go with...

Wow. U guys have quite a history. Cool. I'd be in for some highway clean up if your section still exists.

Well guys all I have to do is add Oil, Coolant, and Powersteering fluid and my car would of been at the get together with everyone.... But just got word yesterday the Billet clutchfork I got needs more machining and was sent the wrong one So today I'm removing engine and tranny again... What a sh#tty summer its been... I now officially gave up hope on my car running this year.. Next yera should be better because it can't be much worse than this one has been...

Anyway I think the wife needs her 2012 GTI tomorrow so If anyone would be willing to pick me up that would be great, otherwise I could cruise up there in my Daily driver work van and hang with everyone at the BBQ and then head home from there.. This is all dependent on if me and the wife get back from Saint Peters Dome in time

This completely and absolutely sucks. You can most certainly ride with me, my wife will be along but I have big (and heated) back seats and we can always regroup before the cruise. 218.341.4250 If you need a lift!

Gotcha, didn't realize you'd lost the bracket itself. Being a small company I bet they'd sell you just that piece. I miss your pink bike tray!

    Hey everyone,

Quick question about pics to use or develop. Eurowerks asked me to be a member spotlight sometime soon here and I am putting together the info to give to them... For the pics of my current cars, should I have someone take really good ones for me or just go with what I have? Never done anything like this, so I wasn't sure.

    Thanks,

    Scott

Just use whatever pics you have around.

Also, anyone have some 14" snows kicking around, preferably on 4x100 wheels?

Good. That'll make it easier. Plus, they've been waiting a week for me to get it done. This way I can get it done by tomorrow.

Anyone have any thoughts on another gtg, maybe in November or December... Bowling up at skyline, some pizza, some drinks, etc? it was fun to get together for the BBQ and cruise. I'd be willing to help with organizing another event. Just a thought.

    Hey everyone,

    Some updates on the Audi...

Some of you know I recently had my clutch replaced with a new Sachs clutch. After I got the car back from the shop and repair, the spedometer stopped working. The shop initially thought it was the speed sensor. So I got a new one put in. Still no spedometer. Then they thought it was the cluster. So I got a new one, put it in. Still no spedometer. Then, they thought it was the wiring without a doubt. Had the wiring checked through and new wiring put in. Still no spedometer. Now, as of Friday... they think it is the magnetic ring inside my differential. They believe this ring is either broken or out of place in the tranny. So, they want to have it in the shop for this repair. I have it scheduled for this Thursday/Friday.

Here is a great write up I found on what the next hopeful solution for my spedometer problem is and a few great shots of the magnetic ring they're talking about. I just ordered it from ECS Tuning 3 day shipping for $30. Please pray that this works. Please. My wallet is crying from all the attemts at fixing this issue.
