I have a question for you niagara guys, when your buying parts over the border where do you have them shipped too? I heard mailboxes but don't know what that really means haha and when your crossing the border what do you tell them to avoid the duties? Or do you pay them?

Basically, when you place an order at ECS or GAP for example, you get the option of a shipping address and a billing address. You set your home in Burlington for the Billing address, and the address for U.S. Address for your shipping address. From there, you just track it, and go pick it up when it arrives. I usually email them a day or so before it arrives and ask them to email me when it arrives.

Anything under 100 you dont get charged duty. So modify your receipts on your computer.

Use CBI USA, or US Address.

It's up to you what you want to claim or not. With the savings we see stateside, it is often worth it to just claim it all and pay the tax. Your better off paying some tax now than being banned from crossing the border again!

I crossed the boarder friday evening. I dont think i will be crossing for a while. The americans gave me the hardest time just trying to get over there.

They pulled me over to get search but never actually searched me. Made me wait for 40 mins then released me.....After they had called me names and used the f'bomb numerous times.

Was hard to keep my mouth shut with those bastards!

Yep thats the biggest problem with the boarder. It's not what you do/say/who you are; it's only who/what mood/how big of a douche the boarder guard is.

I've had everything from being searched to being let through without showing a passport. Same car, same story, same crossing.

And I was crossing about 2x a week for awhile .

I have been running Yoko pradas spec 2.. And love them but I think they have been discontinued
so I wonder if I will be happy with this one

what size tires do you need? I've never really been a huge fan of Yoko's. You just need some summer rubber for your snowflakes? I would go with a Continental, or a Hankook. If you need stretch etc, go for a Toyo or a falken.

No more snowflakes.. got a set of 16 inch Ronal's... this will be my second summer on them
I like the BFG Gforce2 they look like my kind of rubber.. Lookin to run 205 40 r16 thats what I got right now and I'm very happy with the ride
