Modified by huntenrabbit at 10:35 AM 4-22-2008I actually was thinking that too. Because there is no real 'clear' sharp focal (sp) point in the picture. If you look at the need/and head - it still doesn't look at clear as it could be. .

You know what.. I think would be sweet!! If you cut them into strips and then did every other one male-female-male-female.. Til the picture is completed. That'd be so super awesome!!!

THanks.try to shoot as low as possible when taking pictures. all you have to do is slow your shutter speed to get the light. if it is a moving object then you may have to bump the iso up tho. in the shoe picture you can use a tripod and wouldnt have to sacrifice quality at all...

Yes it's true the higher the ISO, the grainier your picture will be but there's really no need to switch your ISO settings unless you've just finished shooting pictures of a brick on a windless day (no movement) and now you want to go shoot that same brick flying through a window at midnight (high speed - low light). Higher ISO will generate "noise" which is that grainy look but you can often, with noise reduction software, eliminate much of the noise during image processing. Most of the time I just leave my camera on the lowest ISO setting which, for me, is 100. I have a shoot coming up where I'll be shooting a band during a dim lit show so I plan to crank my ISO up to about 600-800 depending on the amount of light alloted.

Quote, originally posted by breane24 » In this picture- you have a lot of 'grain'. Which is either caused my improper magification or ISO (override) settings.
What I would recommend is you go back and re-shoot with different ISO settings. Try a lower ISO number.. Lower ISO = less noise/grain.If you shot at 400- I'd recommend cutting it to 200. Get the picture clear- and change the shutter speed to either FREEZE frame or Blur motion.
- Please don't be offended. We're all here to help one another.
Thanks for the input. I'm pretty sure I can't change the shutter speed on my camera. It is just a small P+S. Here is the same shot with my crappy tripod and a little more light.
And my photo from yesterday.
