    These guys chill out by the dock all day long. If you come close with a brown bag they know your going to be feeding them and only show aggression to other ducks and geese. If you walk towards them without a brown bag sometimes they run at you quackin or just turn and hit the water

    awesome shot reminds me of one of Zoey's favorite books... "Boo to a Goose" by Mem Fox, every page ends with "... but I wouldn't say BOO to a goose" and Zoey always does the "boo" part we just read it tonight so of course I was reciting it to myself after seeing your shot.

    Thanks Jon, another beautiful Zoey pict!! My granddaughter Zoe wanted to feed these guys, but we advised against it so she stuck to feeding the mallards.

    Good thinking. I once saw a little girl chase a white duck and tackle it, then carry it back to her dad, who seemed to be drunk and right out of one of those redneck shows, who thought it was the greatest thing ever. That poor duck, I'm surprised the little girl didn't get attacked by all the other ducks.

    If I knew how to use the blur tool it would probably look horrible (I haven't tried to learn photoshop yet, just use PSE9 for some small details on a few shots after I'm done editing in LR3). That shot was uncropped and with a 70-200mm f/2.8 at f/3.2 while laying down on the ground, the blurry bottom is just grass that was way too close to the lens
