Went out the other morning to do a little shoot of my mountain bike for a MTB forum I'm a member on. I found that I'm not terribly creative first thing in the morning, especially when I still have a little buzz lingering from the night before I had no idea what I was going to do so I just decided to use what I know about shooting automotive and it kind of worked out... How slow was he rolling? The background hardly moved. Kinda looks weird with the wheels moving so "fast", but the background being pretty sharp.

We moved the car maybe ten feet. It was quite a ways from the building behind it, which is why it's not so blurry. If we had staged the car right next to the building, there would have been more blur.

They wanted the background to be fairly clear so they could put their company logo up there.

Yeah, bought the suction cups from B&H, the magic arm and super clamps off a friend for half price and got the aluminum piping from speedymetals.com and did the machining locally. Paid a little more than half of what it would cost to buy a kit.

We were setting the girls up for a photo when I accidentally fired off a shot. Way too much flash and it scared the crap out of them. Nothing I could do to save that shot, but their faces are priceless to me.
