    Thread: DTC P0327: Knock Sensor

    1. 05-08-2007 01:07 AM #1
I don't know if I posted this in the wrong section but I just got my 2001 VW Jetta 1.8T out of the shop for all new valves, head machined, and new timing belt. So I'm now getting this trouble code: DTC P0327 Knock Sensor Circuit Low Voltage . What I want to know is does this mean the sensor is bad or possibly timing issues? I did a search and pulled up posts with OTHER problem codes attached. I only have this problem code. All tips and suggestions I'd REALLY appreciate!

I've heard of the cam chain tensioner thingy either going bad or not being re-installed correctly can cause knock sensor codes.

I'd still wait for somebody that knows for sure though.

Any updates about the issue? The shop also did the timing belt on mine, valves and head machined. I end up with the same knock sensor error as you.
