Installed a Peloquin rear diff this weekend. Have only driven it a few miles since, to make sure everything went back together ok. Should have more feedback soon.

I am looking into the Sachs SRE clutch. Which is the one hpa used to use on their twin turbo applications. It's rated for 520 but underrates their clutches a bit. It's about 900-1000 for the disc n pp from sachs. I would say go with a clutch masters fx400, which is what newcreation uses on his 500 Jo turbo r, but cm has done QC issues for some.

Thx for the info. Yeah i've read some CM failures also which worries me quite a bit! Let me know how the Sachsen SRE does for you. I'll have to ping newcreation on how his is doing.

Cut old one off or pull it off if it is split, soak the new one in some hot water so it is more pliable and just put it on over the antenna base. I have done this several times. Beats ripping the back of your car's interior out.

GinsterDub, I think I met you last Sunday at the Spring meet, we talked about the clutches for a bit with Jim. for 400- 450 whp southbend and CM FX400 are good options power wise they will hold, but you may need the NLS shim kit for the CM kit in case it has engagement issues. if you want to go all out FX850 (may need the shim kit or maybe not)

if you go with Sachs buy the kits listed on the Clutch thread, the ones from Europe or the HPA kits.

good luck, need to see your car one of this days.

I have the updated/recall coils in my R and unnoticed they were hard as hell to push back on. Might want to double check that they are all properly seated. You've probably checked them but there was a big difference between the old coils and new coils. Push em all down til your finger bleed!

Ah that's funny, I wasn't sure who you were - on the forums. hahahahaha, was your R at the show? You going to Cruise for the Cure on Sunday? IF all goes well tonight, I'll be bringing my R out to that. Kk thanks for the info. Looks like I have a bit of reading to do. I'd like to not have to pull the trans another 2-3 times for blowing clutches

On another note - a bit of current progress made. Fixed the issue where the R would start up and then immediately due. Popped off the boost tube at the exhaust of the SC. On my short list to do sooner than later is to swap out all the hose clamps with proper ones. Gah! And for moar fun - Going from USP test pipe to Milltek high flow cats -
