This thing reminds me of the old Bud Light Party Balls.
I have one of these and I place it on my coffee table watching the playoffs; no getting up to grab beer for me!

I had one for myself the night of my birthday. I'm pretty sure that people were tapping it when I wasn't looking because I was also shooting everclear.Man, turning 22 was a lot more fun than being 22 the next day.

I love the mini keg, only like 20 dollars here and it has its own CO2 compressor thing inside to keep it fresh for like 30 days. I cant get it to last more than a couple hours though...

What makes this concept really cool is that with the inclusion of CO2 and the sealed design, it's really just about the same as a real keg, while the others out there with the pump or the little spout at the bottom are really no more than big cans of beer. I just wish that more beers were available this way.

no matter how cool the packaging is, its still a Heineken.![]()

My room mate talked me into getting one of these the other night. 16.99 at the shoppers food warehouse. Neat but it makes a mess in the fridge from the drippy spout and, its still Heineken.

The key to keeping it in the fridge drip-free is to fold the tap handle back and pull off the spigot before putting it back in there. It doesn't drip at all that way, and if you're going to be pouring beers from it for a few hours, it doesn't hurt to just leave it on the counter with a paper towel in front of it to catch the drips, because it seems to be pretty well insulated and will stay cold for at least that long. The one I had wouldn't even fit in the fridge without laying it on its side. Needless to say, it only lasted about two days

Very generally speaking, I've found heineken is hit and miss quality. The bottles are most consitent, then little cans, then the big boy keg can. I've sampled a few of these things and the majority have a horrible aluminum taste. ew. Much more aluminumy (is that a word?) then any other canned product i've tasted, real keg or otherwise.
just my $0.02

Are these the same style mini kegs we've had for years in Canada?
