    lower it more.

i am gonna do it after the tüv approval (you have to roll up on a 3.5 inch ramp with one wheel to show that i will not rub)
as well as the springs have to saddle, i raised it to pass control then i will lower it about 2-3 inches all around.

    Really nice project!!!
    Good work!

Maybe someone has asked before, but what color is this?
Is it the Audi Mauritiusblau, or some custom color?

damn dude. I'm really impressed by not only by the quality work you guys are putting out, but also by the commitment involved
I think im in love with your gauge setup, could you provide a some details about them? I'll be starting a project '78 bunny pretty soon and if it turns out half as nice as yours I'll be pretty proud.

the gauges are autometer nexus gauges i bought at
    http://www.egauges.com
from left to right: fuel level, speedo, tach, water temp, oil temp, oil press, boost gauge.
u can set them to these colours:

depending on the colour setting they change the colour to alarm you when u hit the maximum you set before for example:
i setted the rev limit to 6700rpm, when i hit 6700rpm the whole display changes his colour to red like a shiftlight.
you can set every gauge seperately to your own specs and if you want .
i am going to order some more as well but need $$$ first
afr, voltmeter, fuel press is going to come in when i upgrade the engine in the winter.
they are a bit pricey though since the shipping and the friggin customs cost big time.

Ahhh. I can start to feel the love we all share.

What is something you learned last year that you are going to do differently this year?

    here we go again!
i am working 90 hours per week to work up hours-next week i am going back to berlin for 2 weeks vacation
i want to ride her badly...
the tuning shop tweaked her to 200whp and told me that the gearboxmount will not take the stress so long so the will fabricate
    a stronger one VR6 style
the testdrive showed that the wheels spin up to 4th gear
    let me testdrive
i need to buy a winter beater as well (mk4 or A3 )
    any opinions??

dont rush to test drive it, let them get a lil more hp first as far as a winter beater car goes, anything tdi, i prefer a mk3 tdi jetta or even a beetle

edit: after going back and looking at the wheels above, i think you should get a smart car and rock a matching set of wheels

the rate is bad so its exorbitant in dollars, if you read my thread you will see that the cost of different things like traveling to the car customs special orders and stoopid mistakes made the car real pricey.
    read as well :
    http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3978454

if i would have send it to the tuning shop right away it would have been a lot cheaper
i just wanted to build it myself as much as posible, dumb i am
