If anyone is selling a car (and it doesn't have to be a VW) for around $800, please let me know. As long as it can get a person from Point A to Point B.

Got some rash on one of my wheels. Never had an experience with this, so I have a couple things I was wondering about.
Any tips on a good repair shop? Is it really pricey to get done? Do they have to repaint the whole wheel, or can they touch it up if it's not bad?

Prince Wheel........depends on the wheel as to how much. Huffs are pricey to have redone due to machined finish. And they can usually blend if it's not too bad and just fade the paint into what is still good. I'd say you're looking at $75/wheel to have it repaired and painted if they are not too bad........have any pictures?

And Dennis...........you have to bug me to get Jason's cell # for you about getting the Touareg wheels fixed.......keep forgetting

working on the pics. It isn't bad at all, and only one wheel. $75.00 sounds reasonable. Thanks.

spacers. Guys I want to get some spacers for my 17" classics. What is the most I could get to get them out on the fender without rubbing? I'm talking about the rears right now. Also any suggestions on where I should get them, new / used etc? And does anyone have any for sale? Thanks..

~$250 at TICO metal polishing in Concord. My advice would be to get them sprayed or powercoated clear afterward. Keeping up polished aluminum is a real pain in the lower back. You'll need to clean, polish, wax at least every month to prevent oxidation/dulling and pitting from brake dust deposits.

i know josh has spoke to to turbo mike, but who would be interested in a dyno day at a shop in mooresville(cant remember) can make it a day event, he can call out his food vendor or we can simply bring a grill or w.e
the dyno is rated for 1,000hp so everyone will have no problem getting correct readings. its front/rear only NOT AWD. and it dont matter how low hes gotten c5 race corvettes on/off no prob. and we can even do simulated drag races on it as well.
everyone lets get a date and make it happen.
oh and josh said alot of his DSM guys would be interested so that will help get the price down. i think it would be like 50$ for 3 pulls? i think it was.. ill find out more info as soon as we find out how many ppl wanna go.

OK guys.....as John said, we are trying to get together a dyno/cookout. I REALLY need to get a date set so I can get info to my buddies and I have one flying in from Texas to chill for the weekend as well. So let's try to get everyone in agreement.
As it stands, I'm aiming for April 10th. Me and John are both off that Saturday and we have to do it before the 17th in order for my DSM buddies to be able to do it. They have a competition the 17th and would like to tune/baseline before it.....plus that way they can have time to fix their cars before the comp.
So all in for the 10th of April.......let me know, then we'll discuss how we'll do food and all. And as John said, should be like $50/3 runs, but you don't have to run........just come and chill with us all.

as you find out whether or not you are in for sure, just quote it and add your name to the list. And we have to make sure the 10th works for the shop we use for the dyno as well and figure out food stuff. But I guess me and John will do that when he lets me know the name of the shop.

on another note..........I'm starting to save up for my AutoTech brakes and SouthBend clutch stuff from BSH, so just give you guys a heads up. Will probably be about a month or so before I order the stuff. So take a look at their site and if you guys have some interest in their stuff, let me know and I'll see if I can get a bundle shipping deal at least. Or if you guys want some BSH brand stuff, I'll see if Phil will cut a deal if we buy enough of the BSH brand like last time.
