Diggin the color. About the camber, toe-in issue: I'm sure that when you align it the problem will be remedied.

Thanks guys! I agree. It shouldn't be too bad
For new viewers... here's what the car will look like with some stencils and the lip:

With the color you chose, perhaps little palm trees on the doors would be appropriate (Afrika Korps).

Were did you buy the flairs?

I may find a place for the palm trees... I made a few of my own emblems so as not to use any that were der reich. My brigade and division symbols will be like panzer ones... but different

I got the flares locally from a guy who bought them from another guy... I don't really know where he got them though. I need to find out so I know where to get replacements.... I'll search around a bit.

Do the same basic shape of the Afrikakorps palm, just leave out the Hakenkreuz

Haha... I will only be running it for shows and at the track. Hopefully it won't see the MN roads

As for the palm.... I have thought about it for a little while. Still haven't made a decision yet. There were tons of variations in the placement and type of emblems... I've been doing lots of research... check out http://www.afrikakorps.org. Many cool pics... some it color even

Here is how it will go on....

    http://www.vvg-befestigungstec...?&L=1

    With one of these...

So I can take the lip on and off.... one threaded rivet nut in the metal... then a bolt with a washer through the lip. I need to be able to take it on and off

    Pretty stoked.

Pink & grey, think about it.

Yes it is a Vega... and it is going to be a badass ride

Floors undercoated last night. I need to do some touchups... but it's really close.

I'm happy the red is almost all gone!

Wicked build guys, I just went through the whole thing (mostly pictures, read the main points along the way)

I love how aside from the restoration, it has had an inspired "military/tank" theme all along! Totally killer.

If you guys want any vinyl graphics, I know a guy. And I might have soem that you might be interested in. They are up your alley. VWeezley I'll send you a PM back with what he's sending me for my car.

Sanded and painted the 22mm MC last night... "Hammered dark bronze" I want the engine bay to look old still. For the IC piping... I will be using very minimal silicone elbows. I want to try to make things look like they were made from metal. I have been contemplating spraying the intake and the badgeless grill... this same dark bronze...
