Fixed that for ya These things are tanks compared to MKIII

Oh and as for what I did to my passat today...I'm taking her down to Volkstech to get motor mounts. Blew out the factories after the rebuild...too much power

Funny you say that, a chick backed into me & i thought the rear was gone, the guy parked next to me thought the same & there wasn't even a scratch. The chick pulled off with haste FTW

Ed, you need to come do some work on mine. Its ashame how i show my Passat no love. I barely clean it. She needs an intervention

Did you pump the pedal to bleed them or did you use a power bleeder?

Drove the B3 over the weekend, totally makes me miss the car. B6 is way faster, but the B3 just feels more solid, that and I'm really comfortable driving it (and hell, I've been driving it for 10 years, so I suppose I better).

Yeah, even with the cracked strut tower I can actually feel the road in the B3 (I'm sure I'll be able to feel the road even better once the front passenger fender is on the ground after the strut gets launched through the hood ).

I re-keyed the locks on the doors and trunk to match the new ignition switch so now I am back to just one key again.

Got it towed to the shop because the front right spring went past the strut hat. Ah the beauties of having a suspension that isn't 100% made for your car. Bigger strut hats will be going on.

Last night I hit a massive pot hole on the interstate. Had to get the car towed 40 miles to my house. Looks like I will be needing a new wheel and tire

So today I put on a used 15" steel wheel with belts showing

Got to get some estimates so I can get New York State to buy me a new wheel and tire

Me either, I think its time for some new wheels. BBS or something strong. 17" is really too big for our cars I think

    Bondo ain't fixing that one!!!

I don't think 17's look bad, as long as it is the right type of wheel. Some 17's look great, and some, not so much.

What they looked like on my car. That is actually the destroyed wheel before it was destroyed.

It was an interesting experience doing that at 70mph on the interstate.

I am now waiting for my JB welded coilpack to dry. 2nd coilpack on this pile, I think its time to go MSD ignition coils
