Scored a pair of gently used Hella e-codes with clear corners on eBay.de for about $85 shipped, pretty sweet deal I guess. Seller was cool, even though it says doesn't ship to the US I sent him an email and got a response of no problem. Figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

Pulled my control arm yesterday. Went to the junk yard but couldn't get one out because the oil pan and automatic transmission are in the way, so I ordered one from a member on here.

Fuse 21 (25amp) 2nd from end on the right of the fuse panel. It also shorted out your interior lights, trip meter, truck button, power locks, etc... Mine was grounded due to the wires going to my trunk button. They had gotten caught in my ebrake handle. Quick fix, but hell to diagnose. I just happened to park the car in the garage and when I went to set my ebrake, I actually saw the spark from the fuse blowing under my dash. I had done it a million times before and just kept replacing the fuse. Luckily is was dark enough in the garage to see the spark. Good luck!

found these on craigslist: 17" BBS Madras off of a B5.5 Passat W8. got some 5x100 to 5x112 adapters, had them sandblasted and did a little bondo rehab, sanded, primed and painted. should go on later this week!

Changed the oil pan gasket (so changed the filter and oil as well) in my new '95 passat vr6. Thinking of rebuilding my vr6 from the 97 passat as a summer project

Attempted to* relube my rear regulators. Got the first one done & back in, but didn't notice much of an improvement. Not sure if it's a voltage loss or what at this point. Back to square one.

*(had a hell of a headache come up as everything was going back in. )

pulled knee bar, cleaned up wiring and re-mounted fuse panel. found out why my a/c doesnt work: B4 a/c buttons do not work with stock b3 wiring. P. Owner fail... removed and replaced both E-brake cables, getting ready for Dustoff next weekend. oh, and finished up the Madras put those babies on:
