I so wish there were 15" snowflakes. Because I sure as hell ain't paying the kind of money 1552 charges for one of their repros.

Tbh, I wish they were 15s instead of the 14s, they'd fill the fenders better. But, overall I'm pleased with the outcome. I just wish I had the money for a set of the 1552 snowflakes.

Which is why I asked. Didn't know if it was retrofitted with it or if it was even an functioning light or something else altogether

Changed the wheels, re-installed the 16x7 ARE mesh. with 5mm spacers in the rear, no more rubbing on the coilovers.

    looks good.

Tore off the door panal on the driver side, speaker seems to have problems.
Tried to adjust mirror pisition while I was at it, didnt really work, got pretty pissed off.
Switched tires front to back (did that in the first place when I switch to the summer set) because the car does not feel pretty stable on the highway when going over small bumps and stuff.

I wanna get a new car

Hmmm....finished installing my 12v head, cleaned and painted my oil filter housing, starter, alternator, and what I now can say is only my alternator mount bracket. Because I deleted my AC and PS. Installed BFI motor mounts. Assembled everything and dropped the motor in the car.

After the initial fire up, figured out I forgot to "prime" the lifters! Thought I was going to throw up while listening to it run like a diesel! After some very in depth vortex forum reading, let it run and prime the lifters.

All is good now and my B4 VR6 Variant is back on the road! Hope it passes inspection tomorrow, so I can make the 9 hour drive to The Real Worthersee next week!!!!
Drive that **** like you stole it!!

Figured what the problem was, part of the speaker membrane was loose.
Guess its time to finally visit a scrap yard again...

Also got my old NC license plate back in place

Got the door sills, they dont fit.
Does anyone please have a close-up picture of the sills of a B4 so that I can compare the shape of the sills to the shape of the door sills I got.

Or is there anyone who knows if the B4 sills and B3 sills are completely the same ?

    Thanks

Are you talking about the plastic door sills that go from the front side, under the B-pillar and to th back?

    Hey,

no I mean the part where you put your Kamai door sills.
I ordered custom door sills, here is a pic of the rear ones:

The upper part dont fit though because the chassis of my B3 does not have a rise like the door sills do. So I was wondering if maybe the door sills would fit a B4?

    Thanks,
    Alex

Ripped out my brake master cylinder and came to the realization that ABS is literally good for one thing, being in the way at all times.

I really like those porsche rims. Makes it look classy.
