      nice score dano.

I listened to the sweet sweet sounds of metal screeching and grinding from the front and rear of the car. took both ends apart, again, only to find absolutely no trace of loose, broken, scraped up parts.

about 20 minutes later i all but abandoned all ideas of putting any more money into it. really wanted coils and wheels by summer, but due to recent events i may be picking up an old camaro or an old chevy truck and well.... i cant have 2 cars im sinking money into.

I'd rather go fast than look pretty.

Fixed cruse for a few min.
Cruise died and after 4 hours of playing with it got pissed and called it a day...

I bought one! It's a blue 87 vr6 5-speed. Took a bus form milwaukee wi all the way to springfield ma and drove it back, no issues. Needs a few things like o2 sensor, ignition switch, suspension (think coils ) and a few other odds and ends. It has 194k on it, but it still goes strong. It has no rust anywhere, and I'm going to do my best to keep it that way. Such a fun car to drive. It's huge too! I'm used to driving sciroccos and cabriolets and the passat is a tank! I'm just glad I have 4 doors now... and four door handles to fix

I have pics from the seller I'll post when I get a chance; more after a wash and some tlc

I lost motivation and looked at a Vanagon Westfalia yesterday.

After not driving it since September, I've lost motivation on the wagon. I need to start installing the parts I've amassed over the winter so I can love the beast again!

The local season opener show is on May 1. That's the goal to get stuff done.

      -oil pan/pump
-clean up engine bay wiring/hose mess
      -PS pump
      -coilovers
      -rear wheel bearings
      -FMIC
      -front bumper
      -rust repair
      -paint
      -other odds & ends

I know most of that will be done. I have all required parts, it's just getting the time to do it.

My porter-cable arrived on Friday. Spent all weekend buffing out swirls and oxidation with Wolfgang products (definitey worth the xtra $). Now on to glazing and sealing.
