i do this every day out here in the country.

one night after driving home from a party (wasn't drunk) i was trying to dodge the racoons and possums but i honestly hit atleast 4. when i got home i saw nothing, but the next morning i was picking fur and heads and nasty stuff off my rear axle and wheels and muffler. that was an amazingly funny morning!

      why?

All good things must come to an end. It needed a bunch more money to replace tires, fix the AC, and paint. I had spent more than my share so it was time to go to a new home with a new budget.

Preparing the winter parts for installation. Whole new look on the front end, and I'm excited about it!

And as long as they have the parts in stock (which I doubt they will), I'll be doing an auxiliary water pump, fuel filter, and reverse switch, but that won't be until tomorrow.

What are the details on the mats? I didn't know they made monster mats for the B4.

they don't make them for the B4. they are new ones for a B5. the B5's will fit a B4 easily. i used carpeted B5's before my monster ones i have now. i'll take some pics tomorrow when it becomes light out.

Fixed my reverse switch, got my VHT tinted tails on, AND I took my US spec headlights apart, polished the lenses to get rid of the yellowing, and blacked out the inner parts of the housings. I now have a US spec blacked out set of headlights that I'll be mating with a pair of 4300K HID bulbs (have 8000K in the E-Codes) and I have a whole new set of fogs/reflectors/signals that I tinted to match. It's going to be a dark winter Pics to come.

Replaced the valve cover gasket, figured out why I was getting the CEL for the secondary air pump flow (the vacume line was pinched shady mechanics ...). also replaced the spark plugs(it had autolite plugs in it... ). Replaced all the vacume lines, and cleaned the TB and MAF. Put it all back together and drained the tranny and engine of its lubricants(found chunks of metel in the tranny plug ) and filled it back up with the good stuff... Royal Purple synthetic gear oil and mobile 1 engine oil. Had to run to the 24hr parts store at 1:30 to get the correct oil filter (i bought the metal capped one.... of course it would be the plastic capped one) Got it all done and now she runs SOOOOO much better. Oh yah almost forgot, I changed the Cam position sensor as it was bad too. As if you couldnt tell, I just bought the passat and had to do some cleaning/fixin. Finished at 3am so it was today

Better light for the winter, plus I like the look of yellow on black. Batman style!

Pics of the blacked out US spec headlights

Yes the lenses used to be yellow too, but I learned a polishing technique to bring them back to life, and as you can see, it works well!
