Chicago area "Spotted" Thread

Nothing spotted but figured I would get this message out to the most people via this local thread. Had a buddy get his 17x8 rota grids stolen off his car last night where his car was laying on frame (in a bad way) this morning. They are black on falken 512's, size 225 45 17. Obviously might not have the tires and/or wheels could be painted a diff color. Any word or run across these please pm me. Most importantly I posted this just to let people know to watch out. Happened a little north of o'hare area.

BMP MKV GTI 2-dr and 18" Huffs at the Emma Carlin Trailhead in Kettle Moraine today in the early evening hours.

Also a gray MKV TDi Jetta as well.

Both were hard parked.

Just saw this beaut at the Menards off Weber and Caton Farm in Crest Hill. Stuck around for a few to chat w/ the owner, but they never showed.

pulled up next to a BMP MKV slightly lowered I think, on black wheels and blacked out Vdub on the hatch. Gave "V" but was looked at like I was stupid. Just respecting the Ride, no worries. Not everyone does the same.

Today on HWY 55 at 4:50PM IY 20th gti with 3 white stickers on rear window, purple roll cage, molded + shaved front lip. Had white plates with blue numbers/letters I didn't see what state tho.

Black Audi A5 last night at Snap Fitness in Huntley, fully decked out in Statis parts and wheels, Nissan dealership plate frame.

And today, a Dolphin Grey looking B8 S4 lowered on stockers and exhaust on Rt 47 near the big construction mess of I90.

spotted this morning i94 northbound going through the loop. new golf R white with some apr badges. threw up the V kinda looked at me funny then saw I had an R32. so he honked when he got off the expressway.

Spotted a CW MKVI GTI with tint and what looked to be APR exhaust headed North on 94 this morning around rt22/Half Day Rd. I waved once as I passed, I don't think you saw, then when I was exiting on 60 you pulled up to the adjacent lane and waved as you continued North.

Spotted another CW MKVI GTI headed home from work today.. we cruised West on Golf Rd. from the roundabout to Busse in Mount Prospect.. I think the guy lives in the apartment complex there, pretty sure I've seen his car parked before. The CW had tint, and the front plate was mounted in the grill, offset, probably mounted with zip ties. Not the same driver from this morning though.

Well, it was down by Joliet, so that's quite a distance, all things considered. Course, the owner had Temp tags on the rear, so it coulda just been bought down here, but originated up closer to the city.

Tim was in from Flint MI for Treffen and a scratch removal he got on his 3 week old R. If he drives 5 hours for a Detail work you guys are a lot closer.

I spotted a CW MK5(?) with a black hood and pink rims. It was stanced out. That was Saturday around 2pm in Mount Prospect.
