      Because racecar!!!

Most significant thing about this new 911 GT3R is that the 991 GT3RS DFI engine will finally be raced! So far the Cup cars and RSR still uses the good old Mezger and everyone says GT3 and GT3RS has no racing lineage. Well no more! Of course this car /engine still has to prove itself before Porsche traditionalist are happy.

Why they bothered putting GT3 (out of production), GT3 RS (sold out) and GT4 (sold out) in there? Not as if you can buy them. Also, I love it how Porsche look so cheap on paper, but when you actually buy them with options and on road costs they are so much more.

Yep add 30% to any of those number for anything with decent options on the road

Their pre auction "guide" was $32-38k.

924 is in my budget but I'd probably go a 944 Turbo because Turbo.

Actually when you search used Porsche online your faith in humanity gets slowly crushed. There are sooo many Automatics and Cabrios out there(badge and poseur value). So many hand me down dogs. So many dreamers with 18k asking on a 924.

I don't know if prices for them have gone up too, but I would be looking for a 964 C4 at this point. They used to be the unwanted cousins but I'm not sure if it's still the case.

Nice, but why such a convoluted exhaust design?
