So some more P news.
I have the build slot for the GT4 confirmed for end of March
also have put a deposit on the 991 911R (actually did this a while ago just forgot to update) expected OTR about $360k IF i get an allocation
and, am thinking about the 991.2 turbo or turbo S, am getting a reasonably "good" buy price, and they will trade in my 991 (3 months old, 4,000km) for very close to what i paid for it ???

Did you enjoy Camp 4? I've got to do it one day. Mdt did it years ago and still wears the jacket. Not sure if it's more a reflection of his enjoyment at Camp 4 or his lack of dress sense.
I'm glad you got your name down for 911R, but if you are thinking of a price of $360k otr, then I'm afraid you are going to be very disappointed. Don't worry, pay whatever you need to and sell it as there will probably be less than 10 units in Australia.
Yes loved it, did the ice force rather than camp4, it's a better selection of cars and you do more stage driving rather than basic technique, also much more fast paced and you get better toys to play with. There was 6 of us together in one group, so made it more fun
The 991r price is plus onroads, it will end up just short of the gt3 RS. This will be a long time keeper IF I can get an allocation, I'm fairly high up on the list, so hoping that Sydney gets 4/5cars...
Driver error did not cause death of UK racer Sean Edwards who died in Willowbank crash, Queensland coroner finds
RIP Sean Edwards, and pfft on the news story getting the car details incorrect, I hope the Coroner said 996. It was a supercup 996 car. Even a previous news report on the abc says 966: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-09-0...owbank/6748162The inquest, which began last year, heard numerous theories about why the series 966 Porsche crashed into a concrete barrier and burst into flames in October 2013.
