I love how this car looks, but one has to ask, is the RS really worth $94k more than a GT3? Or double of a GT4? I guess the rich would not ask this question, but having owned three GT3s, I think the GT4 is as much car as i would ever need these days.

It is not so much a value question, but (at least in this country) I don't understand what the benefits of anything more than a GT4 for road use. I personally have never seen any sense in super/hyper cars. From my perspective they are ALL compromised compared to any decent tarmac race car at a fraction of the price. As such, they are only ever owned for reasons of status. The GT4 is the 1st road car that has interested me in the last 10 years or so from an ownership perspective. Seems to be the right balance of analogue interface, adequate power, great looks and hopefully detailed and communicative response. Superb and long overdue effort.

I like to think of it as maturity.

Speaking of old age, I'm thinking of going Guards for the GT4. As a guards owner, what you reckon?
