BBS LM for one...
OZ Superturismo GTs maybe...
BBS RS 003
Simmons B45's
ROH Hot Wires.

i reckon you got 2 right.
lm's and superturismos are classics and will suit the 968
and that's about it...
if were talking other cars and rims overall, howabout
your 2002 on alpinas?
or dino 246gt on campagnolos?
or speed lines on f40?
these are all iconic wheels and have been around many years before 1993... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (Gumbi)

They are all pics I took at Phillip Island Historics in March. It was awesome for a Porsche fan... or any classic car fan for that matter.
I'd have a new one too! The GT3RS in silver with charcoal side stripes... carbon mirrors and wing end plates. I think the contrast color on them looks a bit much.

Nah, what, Orange with the black contrast, or come to think of it black with the orange contrast like the one at PCM now...70's vibe brother.

Re: (Gumbi)

Yeah, 35 years of Porsche R&D does that...
Mark, my background prior to the 135i that I have at the moment was the black GT3RS with orange... having seen the car in person, I was a bit ho hum on the orange details on the wings, badges and mirrors (kinda like the white mirrors on a black Cooper S with a white roof... you know what I mean...) I'd just go a shade more subtle.

Like this one ?

Im pretty sure by the bonnet and double windscreen wiper that thats an RS which has been upgraded to RSR spec. Also, even though easily changed, the rims that come standard on an RSR are LM's not those. Why would you change?
Toodles, the RSCS that I showed you was actually a Euro RS spec upgraded to RSR/GT2 spec, the owner failed to release that info til the last minute which is why I dont own it. IMO, the RSCS is still highly desirable but would still 'prefer' a 'factory' RSR. Does'nt mean I would'nt buy a 'factory' RSCS if I was offered one at the right money!
My driver used to race a Jeff Morgan Vodafone sponsored RSCS back in the 90's in the then Porsche Cup equivalent, and whenever the RSR turned up they were blown away down the straights.
I would take either though come to think of it.

interesting article/comparo a few issues back on Excellence on a 2.7 cayman vs 2.7 73RS
even though the RS had a significant power to weight ratio advantage, the cayman still managed to have the wood over it RS

Try the 3.4L Cayman S http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (Enzothemaddog)

What used to run at the pointy end of the the production car series? I remember it had those distinct intakes built into the rear tail and Falken? sponsorship.
My favorite Porsche is the original 911 Club Sport. One was featured on the Car Show a few weeks ago
http://www.thecarshow.com.au/web-tv-ep21.htm
BTW I occasionally look through used 911's on Car sales etc and so so many of them are poseur models like convertibles or even autos.

Sounds like you know far to much about the 993 and way way more about these than me, I'll just add that I was told it was a 'real' one back then ( about 10 years ago) and as a road legal car in the UK it probably had to have two wipers. This pic was taken at a Porsche Club GB meeting at Castle Coombe. There are a few more of this car and others at http://gallery.rennlist.com/gallery/album659

I'd have it, but there are quite a few others I would have over it...

I think that is about as good as it gets for Porsche right now...
