I've been to Ale Asylum twice (and have drank a number of their beers from bottles), but I don't believe I've ever had their Bedlam. Have been wanting to, though. Hoping to make it out there again this fall.

Currently drinking another Ruination 10th. Good stuff.

I'm in Austin right now and have the chance to try all these new awesome breweries but for some reason I'm on an old fashioned kick. And it's Belgium independence day!

    Yesterday was:
    Stone Ruination 10th
Stone Smoked Porter w/ Vanilla Bean
    Deschutes The Abyss (2007)
    Oud Beersel Oude Geuze (2008)
    Harveys Imperial Stout (2001)

And I may be setting up a pretty crazy trade. Have some rarer stuff I'll be sending him, but seriously impressed/surprised by his offerings.

HF is a brewery I'd really like to try. Have heard nothing but great things.

Drinking some Palate Wrecker. First time having it on tap and while i still like it, I'm just thinking about how much more in like Ruination 10th...

Sb brew house or sb brewing co? Next time drive a few minutes to Goleta and hit up Hollister brewing. Some of the best beers I've ever had.

Only IPA I have in the fridge is a few bottles of 120 Minute. Not really what I want to drink for IPA Day. :/ Might need to do a little shopping...

I THINK I've had Hopalicious, but I can't say for sure. :S I've had a decent number of Ale Asylum brews, just don't remember if that was one of them or not. Don't know that I've had any Great Lakes beers. Don't think I have. But Edmund Fitzgerald is on my "to drink" list. Wouldn't mind some of others, too.

Didn't drink a 120 Minute, but drank my 100th+ ounce of Ruination 10th instead, haha. Has definitely faded pretty quickly, though, unfortunately.

finally got a bottle of 120 minute. although i probably overpaid for it, it was on my list of beers i need to try(i paid $10 for the single bottle).

also got a sample pack from tommy knockers, and so far those have been pretty good.

$10 isn't much more than the cheapest you'll find 120 Minute. It's like $8.50 bare minimum and I've paid more than $10 (regrettably). I had a bottle of it the other night (9-12mo of age on it) but unfortunately don't really remember it at all, haha... Ugh...

    Surly Syx. 15% ABV.

Had four bottles and down to only two already. Got "lucky" and found one today at a liquor store for $26.99.

Incredibly sour. I thought the liquor store employee was kidding when he said it is likely the most sour thing you've ever had in your mouth... but no, spot on

This is pretty good. Tastes like their Bombshell Blonde with cloves and spices in it.

I want it. And that's definitely not too bad of a price, compared to many. Don't know that it sees distribution in AZ, though. I've certainly never seen it. Nice photo, btw.

Photo isn't mine but next time I drive through AZ (Spring of 2013), I'll be sure to try to remember to bring some with me. IIRC, the local chain liquor store has them in single or 6-pack.

    Outstanding beer!

My #1 out of the 5 was the Rumble IPA by Great Divide Brewing, followed by the Firestone Brewing Union Jack.

One of my favorite sours! And readily available in TX which is a rare thing.

Walloon is a great summer beer and based on a style from Belgium that isn't really brewed too often anymore. Southern Star makes some decent beers. Love the cans.

been going against my no fruit beer policy and have been trying beers with my wife. strawberry, apricot, and apple samuel smiths, angry orchard crisp apple and ginger apple, and wittekerke rose. not my favorite, but surprisingly drinkable.

got a cse of the 2012 batch of new holland black tulip. just as tasty as i remember.

starting a 6er of abita punkn. delicious

i got a bunch of beer in trade i'll take pics and post shortly.

Steel Toe Brewing SIze 7 IPA - great NW style IPA from MN. One of the better MN beers I've had.

Beerfest was last weekend..Highlights were FatHeads HEadhunter IPA (of course), all the beers I had from Bluegrass Brewing, the IPA and DIPA from Piece in Chicago.
