I played the COD4 beta and loved it. Was waiting for that SEGA Rally demo but my 360 finally bricked - red ring of death! I say finally because 3 out of 4 mates have had theirs repaired under warranty as well.
There must be some serious design and/or quality control issues with the 360, but if you have to choose out of the 360 or the PS3, the 360 is going to give you better value in the long run. If/when your 360 dies just demand a loaner before you send yours back in. It will come back with another 3 yr warranty regardless.
And they come in black now, to match your B&O hifi gear.

so i started playing Sega Rally in ernest this evening when i got home, its almost 4am..i better give it a break and while i'm in the mood jibber a little
Took a while to get used to the crazy arcade style of barely ever touching the brake, swingin the rear end out pointing your nose where u want it and slamming the gas. Its heaps of fun imho and is elite in multiplayer... nothing like any kinda of sim, but door to door racing usually for almost an entire race its pretty intense... oh and theres a Golf GTI's with 4wd in it for anyone interested haha
I gotta google up and find out how to unlock the EVO X, Mini and the Hummer haha

i saw F1 on the PS3 being being showcased at JB HiFi on saturday, i had to do a double take, at first i thought it was a replay from the other nights game... graphics are unbelievable.

good for a multiplayer get your mates over kinda game... frustrating for myself...
i opted to go for dirt after trying both demos... a lot harder to get used to, but its fan-fscking-tastic... its a treat on the g25 we finally decided to buy

Flexirent is rubbish IMO. You need to do it over a short time period for it to be worth it. Over 3 years you pay soooo much extra in interest, and then when you come to 12-15 months left it's the cost of a current day good laptop to pay out your old equipment. You gotta get to 6 months or less for it to be worth upgrading, thats based on a 3 year rental agreement.
Having said that, I'm yet to see how much I get back in tax for renting my laptop, but that's going to semi-slicks for the GTI

It is a BIG concern these bloody framerate issues, and im thinking i shouldve gotten fifa instead... it seems to be random though, some ppl are experiencing it, and some ppl arent....
i'll see how bad it is after i get it, and either not play it and wait for the patch, or sell it to sumone else...
It cost $70AUD from UK, which isnt bad, seeing it isnt even released in AUS until the 8th of Nov..But yeah, i'll let you know how unbearable framerate is... replays seem to be the biggest concern, im just hoping gameplay isnt too affected...

got Pro Evo,
The gameplay is 100% fine... seriously no issues... unless its because i had the mindset that it was going to be completely shiithouse, but it was honestly very good...
I only had time to play one match (exhibition match ManU Vs Newcastle), 0-0 after full time, 2-1 after the extra periods...
woot...The replays from some angles suck dogs balls though.. i can live with that..

my mate got guitar hero III. I must admit i thought the whole series was DDR like stupid azn crap pressing buttons like a tard and never paid attention to it.. but man i played it today its the most epic game ever haha i gotta get it
