Has anyone here played Test Drive Unlimited much?

I have it on xbox 360 and need to find a tuner shop that will upgrade my Aston Martin V8 Vantage. The UK tuner store doesn't do Aston, and neither do any of the others I can see on my map (about 4 of them).

I had this issue with the Ferarri tuner shop previously, and as I read on the web, I had to drive and drive on every road in the south east to happen to drive by the store so it was visible.

I can't find anything on the web that points me to a rough location of an Aston Tuner. Any clues from anyone?

I saw you playing this. Good you say? Never played a burnout game before. Is multiplayer good?

I really have to get off Halo 3, I don't think it has come out of the tray since September.

I should have given it a chance but COD's style of 2 bullets and your dead isn't forgiving enough for me.

Yeah very good question Matty. Clearly Melbourne is a better university for those who want recognition. However Monash is known to be a more "real world" university. Oh to make this a bit more relevant to Wes, I suggest we discuss UNSW and USyd instead. But yes, if you are serious about research, I suggest you travel to Canberra. I know how much Wes hates Canberra, but it is definitely well worth it.

Any device on a network has its own IP so thats intensely awesome information there from the JB dong licker.

Connecting it to the internet is as simple as plugging it into your router it should autoconfigure and just work, if your router has intense firewalls and nonsense you might have to set that up, but i've used mine on 3 different routers outa the box and its always worked without drama.

For file sharing with media centre etc it takes a little cocking around and rather than me try and explain it poorly, i think there are guides on xbox.com and such to show you what needs to be done depending on how you wanna use it.

As for must haves, i thinki t just depends on your taste but once you get it online check out the xbox live arcade games they're all free to download and try and a few bucks to buy.. i find myself playing the downloadable arcade games like Bomberman, Missile Command, Frogger N+ and stuff more than anything else .. oh sh*t yeah.. Geometry Wars on Arcade is definitely a must have IMHO.

Mike it will be fine with your router. Either run an ethernet cable and just plug it in, or buy the xbox wireless adapter and configure the wireless. Shouldn't be any complications.

Anyone here (apart from Wes) use the media centre stuff on their 360 much? A bunch of the videos (from mpeg-2 to wmv) I've downloaded from the web recently won't play on it... one .wmv file, which is supposedly a supported format, won't even show up in the list on the xbox! (yes it's shared, in the library etc)

99% of the older stuff I downloaded last year works though

Anyone got any ideas? I've searched the web and a few transcoders have been mentioned, but they're all old and mostly designed for Windows XP MC Edition. I've just got normal Windows XP.

Tim, I do. I've found it kinda sucks though - I just purchased a PopCorn Hour NMT (worth a look!) delivered today for about $270 AUD. It plays everything known to man, connects via HDMI and has optical outputs along with a HDD spot inside if you like that kinda thing. Its rumored to play MKV files nicely (packaged HDDVD or Blu Ray Rips) something the Xbox 360 doesn't do.

If your having issues with formats, download WINAVI Convertor (mininova.org has it with a Crack) which is what I used previous to the PopCorn box. Most transcoders were utter **** - crashed, didnt find the device, jumped - complete waste of time.

I gave up on Xbox media center and went the NMT route. Ill take some photos tonight and write a review if anyone is interested... for $280 AUD its a steal and is great if you have loads of MKV files or stacks of 720p material in other formats.

PS: COD4 on 360 FTMFW! I'm at lvl 55 but blow prestige mode. Nearlly have golden assault gun
