If you guys didn't watch the fight but want to know what happened, all I could say is don't read comments that are coming from people who are incapable of thinking objectively (Pacquiao fans, Ortiz fans).

Mayweather, as much as I hate the guy, didn't really do anything wrong technically or ethically. And it's getting ridiculous how many people are defending Ortiz as if he didn't do anything wrong. Ortiz is the one who committed the ultimate dirty foul (numerous times) but everyone is pointing their finger at Mayweather just because they have a bias against him. It's ridiculous.

Ortiz is an idiot and has questionable mental stability. Mayweather accepted Ortiz's apology the first time, including getting kissed by him. The round was back in session, and Ortiz STILL wants to just hug and kiss Mayweather. Enough is enough. If Ortiz thinks he can just call his own timeout in a fight to hug and kiss people in order to alleviate his guilty conscience, that is his own fault, not Mayweather's. Mayweather was not obligated to have to abide to Ortiz's made timeout. And considering how blatantly dirty Ortiz's headbutt was, he absolutely got what he deserved when his @ss got knocked out by Floyd.

If you read or watch interviews by Dan Rafael and/or Kevin Iole, some of boxing's best analysts, even they've said that Mayweather did nothing wrong and Ortiz is the one who messed up.

I watched it.... i feel slighted. everything about it leaves a foul taste in my mouth. Why would Ortiz intentionally headbutt so obviously? It is like he was trying to be disqualified.

While i despise Mayweather's obnoxious persona.... I do appreciate his talent. Which he does have. He didn't need to throw that second sucker punch, the first one is understandable.... we pay to watch boxing not some dude to get blasted with his hands down.

but it is what it is... g@y

at least the prefights were pretty good

i finally caught the end of this fight.

all i can say is that there was an awful lot of 'strange' behavior in that ring at the end. the head butt itself was ridiculous - trying to get disqualified?
the ref's handling was equally bizarre. it's like he just sorta motioned them them to go back & fight, but it wasn't clearly communicated, and then he looks away when mayweather clocks him. hey ref - keep your eyes on the boxers during the action please

then what's up with ortiz keeping his hands down at his sides for both punches
even his post fight persona seemed off the mark. he was all giddy & asking if everyone was 'entertained' by the fight. the whole thing doesn't pass the smell test, but i'm not blaming mayweather for this one. he did the right thing afaic. plus that **** with larry merchant was pretty funny. i can't for the life of me understand how that guy still has a job either.

that's why for a long time now i stopped following boxing. Crap like this happened all the time and it's still happening today. Every one is dirty, from the fighters, to the promoters, to the judges to the refs.

In no other sport does so much crap happens that leaves you wondering "what the **** did i just see? or most importantly what the **** did i just pay to see?

    pac-marquez III sat night. predictions?

i rewatched I. what a great fight. not sure about the draw decision, but maybe it was justified given the circumstabnces. marquez showed about as much heart as you could coming back after getting knocked down 3x in the 1st round. i'm not sure he 'dominated' the rest of the fight in a way that would earn a draw though. won the majority of the rounds, but enough to overcome a 10-6 1st?

i'm a big pac fan, but marquez should have won that fight.

of course there is the unwritten rule in boxing that you have to really dominate or otherwise hurt, with maybe a 10-8 round somewhere, in order to take away the belt from the champ.

i'll say this, marquez is about the best counter puncher i've even seen. that frustrated pac enough that he wasn't on the offense nearly enough as he needed to be. pac needs to be the aggressor with a high punch count to be most effective. in the first 2 fights (marquez was robbed in the 2nd one) his left was a punch to be reckoned with - put marquez on his ass 4 times. in this fight it was almost rendered irrelevant.

Marquez did a great job, i think better than anyone could have predicted.

If any of the fights were a draw it was this one

If he would have gone after Pac i think he could have won.... but he was in a title fight and he did get some really clean counters in but the fact is that he threw less and landed less overall. He wasn't really active enough to take the title fight.... but then again I don't think Manny went in there defending his title whole heartedly.

I would have preferred this be a draw and see a rematch.

although this probably got Mayweather on the edge of his seat.... and could potentially bait him in finally.

I am a Manny fan to the heart..... but if he gets in the ring w. mayweather and fights like that.... i'll be the first to admit that there is no way he will win.

On another note I hope Cotto beats the Shi* out of Margarita this time around.

Margarito got worked... it's funny to read comments on the facebook pages. I knew it would happen, but people are trying to say that Margarito would have won if the fight would have continued must be that mexican water

Margarito's late round rallys, KO, & TKOs are due to hardening plaster in his gloves, i think we can put that in the fact book now. Every venue in America should revoke his license and Mexican fans need to find someone else to idolize.

    Floyd has been tweeting today....

"Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out let's fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see. "

    then right after he tweets

"My Jail Sentence was pushed back because the date was locked in. Step up Punk."

Cotto or Mayweather? Hurts me to say it, but I think Mayweather is a better fighter however he is awfully focused on Pac still.

At least there were 2 pretty good fights last night and the pay per view was worth it. Mosely got rocked, but he didn't back down from the young buck and it was an entertaining fight.

Cotto had control through the middle of the fight but he got tired and Mayweather's stamina came through. It was a good fight though and I still don't think Mayweather wants anything to do with Pacman.

The only guy I really cared for in Money's corner before the fight was Triple H. It was kind of funny to see him standing in his corner.

A lot of people are saying "he didn't think he won so the judges must be wrong"...on the flip side of that people say "I think I won the fight" all the time but don't get the same fan reaction in such volumes.

I didn't watch the fight but from what I have been reading I am surprised a riot hasn't broken out yet haha. Does anyone know if the two judges who gave Bradley the fight are gay? Pac Man's recent religious awakening and his comments to come with it may have helped them with their decision. :p

It is funny people have said this for years, yet fighters continues to take home millions and millions of dollars. So boxing is doing something right. Like everything else, people will forget in about two weeks and the next payday will probably be even bigger thanks to all the drama.

Bradley proved that you can lose every round, but still win the fight.
