Around here the fix gear trend is growing fast. Alot of the fixie guys I run into when I'm out riding are down right a**holes to me, most are very elitist. I had one guy literally ask my why I had gears and brakes on my bike, just kinda snubbed me and rode off. That being said, I love how simplistic fix gear bikes are. Nearly every one in this thread looks so dialed. I personally don't like riding one, I have a single speed and a geared bike. I have a bad knee so the few times I did ride one it was hell on my knee so I'll stick to my cassettes.Let's see some more though

i dont like the elitist pricks either, whether they're riding fixies, road bikes, or not even into bikes at all... food , cars, clothing, electronics, whatever...
really rubs me the wrong way...
just gotta kill them with kindness.

A Rabbit is not to be wasted on the tentative or weak. Only the worthy are invited, and then only at your own risk. If you have even a modicum of hesitation, DO NOT buy one of these cars. want to pay for my plane ticket? I'm not sure whether you're being serious or just joking but if you're being serious then I know it's not you because I ride with the kid in the photo. I'd really rather not get into an internet argument over it though, sorry I called you out in the first place.

9things iro or langster?well my friend, levi, was walking, on a walk way, at uscs, on a hill. and this kid on a langster spray painted with primer is barreling down the hill and they collided. Levi actully jumped into the street. and then the bike rider did the same, i guess he thought that was a good idea too.

time bike is a knuckle of some kind... bare knuckle? brass? i dunno...sounds like your friend and the dude on the bike were equally at fault. bikes don't belong on the sidewalk, which is where the rider was until he jumped into the street where he hit your friend. and pedestrians belong on the sidewalk, which is where your friend was until he jumped out into the street and into the path of an oncoming bike.
i find the whole thing pretty funny

that sucks, glad your friend wasnt seriously injured.
the kid who hit him is retarded. I never "bomb" down hills that I know I cant handle or go so fast where it would become too difficult to stop in a timely manner.
