Pretty much a rolling inventory of my spare road parts. The frame is an 80s giant I brushed the paint off of and never got around to repainting and the wheels are the $100 specials off amazon with new tires, freewheel, cog, lockring and axle nuts. I love this thing. I use it more for road training than anything, but it gets moving pretty good.

Just got my first fixed gear. Felt Brougham with a Sturmey Archer 3 speed internal gear hub.

I learned how to ride fixed while riding it home where i bought it in NYC, all the way to Queens NY. I didn't like not being able to lean into turns and dipping through traffic (pedal hit the ground twice while turning sharp) and I also didn't like the gearing (46/13 fixed). I decided riding fixie simply wasn't for me...so I went to a local bike shop, picked up a 17t freewheel cog. Not as fast top-end anymore, but I love being able to coast while zipping through traffic and at 46/17, Im definitely pedaling more and getting a better work-out.

Looks good! I got to checking out bikes direct I may just have to order one of those, almost nobody can compete with those prices... Hows the quality of her bike? I know it wont be no pista concept but if it gets round without falling apart it seems like a deal.

I really like Windsors for the price, great first bike and they have upgraded parts from when I had one back in 2006.

She has only put a few miles on it so far but I rode the Sh1t out of mine and it held up. After awhile I replaced a few components just because I wanted to but nothing broke. I rode it at least several thousand miles before selling it.

yes, still got the iro frame. swapped the wheels on to the gtb and changed the tires.
i actually picked up an all original complete black gtb from my lbs. it was just sitting there. owner was selling it for a friend. i went to the atm machine and took it home shortly after.
