Anyone close to UVA / Charlottesville Area?

k, now we are getting somewhere... seen a few MKVs up here, and quite a few mkIV r32s and older GTIs... all @ or around campus...

Yeah there are a few of us around. I've seen 6 or 7 GLIs in the last 2 weeks around my house. There was an atempt and trying to get a gtg going but I think that has fallen by the wayside and I don't think much is gonna happen over the winter months.

I go to uva. I wish there were more dubs here I see a couple mk4 and mk5s ,even a few ghias around and I wave sometimes but no one really waves back. I have a black mk4 gti.

i have the same problem when i drive through the ville...i wave and no one waves back...

tried to wave but sometimes no reply........tried a gtg but nothing happened to it i drive a black gli and work in cville so im gonna keep an eye out for yah

i also go to UVA... first year grad school, love the damn town...

ill wave, i always do... i have seen a few mkvs that have waved back... bear in mind most of the UVa kids got their cars from their parents and have no idea what VW is about ...

im from roanoke, but have in-laws in richond so im through charlottesville from time to time and family in lynchburg as well...

oh, and them 'Hoos are going down once they actually face a tough team here soon

um... no, i've seen that one, with 18'' Hufs, right? mine has classix, 17''.

i'm usually parked at home near JPA, @ the E School, behind the Brown Library / Clark Hall... might cruise down at night down Emmet/Ivy (the one that goes through UVA???)...

parking sucks for real, I'm only half a mile from my building, fortunately.

I used to waive or throw the V to other dubbers but I always get a confused look fro people.
