well we had henni's car but no henni lol! as for the vdubs his was the only one :-( , a few other guys showed up, turbo'd mr2, turbo'd scion tc, miata (lol), wrx wagon, mazda 3, turbo'd s2k. it was a fun lil g2g, missed good times at ihop. still want to meet up w/ some people on here

i just moved to lake monticello from ny a few months ago- satin silver golf, kinda non descript. anyways, i work at uva and rarely see any decent dubs. a few gli's here and there, but i can never tell if it's an enthusiast or not, because upper model dubs basically appeal to college age kids i guess. oh well- i'll keep my eyes open. if anyone sees a silver 4 dr golf on tt six spokes, give a beep and hollar, will ya?! let me know you're out there!!

nice to see more and more people pop up on here. i was at flow for an intern type of thing last friday and was working w/ the master tech for Vdubs and hes starting a corrado build its going to be pretty nice.
so when are we going to have enough people to do an actuall dub g2g?

WOW! Nice to see more and more are starting to post up.

Today on 250 spotted a Silver MKIV w/ a Roof Rack that was littered w/ stickers threw me the "V"! Nice ride!!!!

Also, saw a Black MKIII GTI w/ boser hood around UVA area earlier today. We saw each other and that was about it. Nice ride, but you need to ditch the rear lights!

yeah i have been getting an itch to get another scirocco (preferably) or maybe try another rabbit gti ( a1) ill have to wait till spring time. Its nice to see more people coming out around the cville area.

whats wrong with it, where is it at 8v or 16v i had a real nice 86 8v scirocco that i regret getting rid of to this day lol. find out for me and let me know whats up with it. Once it gets warmer maybe we can arrange a weekly meeting spot for everyone maybe ?

im in also, does any one want to buy a blow-off valve? i know....blow-off valve is bad for the 1.8t but anyways ...i just ordered a diverter valve and it's gonna be for sale. it's a greddy type rs, it comes with the recirc kit or straight blow off. let me know guys

Roro....do you know who has that mean sounding BL GLI up here. I keep seeing him tear out of Slice Road all the time. That exhaust he has sounds sweet. There is also another BMP GLI that is at the Dogwood a lot with a debadged trunk lid.

My friend blake has a sweet 83-84 rabbit gti its white he lives up near pantops near the comfort inn i will try to get him to come once we get things set up

I don't know what engine is in it. It is over by edgecombs in the VW scrapyard. That yard has alot of busses, a few MKI's, and tons of aircooled bugs. I think the owner's name is daniel batton. He is really good people. I know it is a MKI Scirocco though.

wow an older scirocco nice you know i have always wondered about that place everytime i use to go that junkyard by there. Maybe ill stop by there. I think spring would be a great time to get things going on a gtg , hard to check out peoples rides when its cold as heck lol. I know a few years ago alot of the people around here would meet at starbucks on pantops. Kervin and ginster and a few others. I dont know how many of them are still around on here. I know kervin is in a mercedes now. im sure he misses his old scirocco i bought from him heck i miss it
