I love the white Les Paul. Always a beautiful clean color. I use to own a LP studio but wasn't captured by its sound (of course not to say the Studio isn't good, just perference I guess). I ended up getting an American Strat for a lighter, cleaner, more poppy sound.

In any case, your LP looks amazing!

I have always felt the same way, most LP Studio's that I've played were a bit muddy. But this one has an Ebony fingerboard and it rings out clearly, and beautifully; I played it next to a 'normal' Studio (Rosewood board I believe) and there was no comparison. I would have never bought it if it didn't surprise me with how good it sounded.

(although I actually mostly play an acoustic 000 and a resonator...)
And yes, raycer, it is basically all-Warmoth, with SD pups.

Since this is the gear thread, I'll put a picture of the other electric in it, while I'm here...

oh wow, I never knew that about the 'studio'. I guess I have to go to guitar center tomorrow and test it out.

I'd sell the green firecrackle BCR. Keep the Bich. Monumentally more cool. This coming from a guy who had an orange firecrackle Charvel dinky with reverse headstock for years. Played semi ok, but I wanted to vomit every time I saw it after like 1992.

Well, I ended up selling the Bich because it just doesn't suit my playing style. I have enough cash to buy two guitars. In fact, I'm waiting on a red crackle 80's Jackson Soloist! Next one will be a USA Mockingbird, most likely.

Thanks. I love it. I've had several different style of high gain heads and the Sovtek happens to be the funnest, best sounding, loudest and most affordable head I have ever purchased. It really makes my guitar and cabs shine. I've always been a big fan of mixing mid-high end stuff (guitar) with mid-low end set up (head/cab) and make it sound as best as I can. No heads/cabs over $800 for me. We have a VHT endorsement and our other guitar player swears by his vht setup but mine sounds just as good for about $1k less.

My new & improved hybrid-dual-Tama-Rockstar-sets-beast of a rat set. I f*cking love it to death. Old pic, have new heads now and a new 16" crash, because my buddy destroyed this one when I let him borrow it. Good tip - don't let friends borrow cymbals.

    The Wrath sound good!
I don't hear many new thrash/hardcore bands that I can actually listen to.
Awesome, if you guys ever come through Baltimore let me know, I'll come out for sure - and know quite a few dudes that would appreciate your stuff.

Here's my little slice of heaven. I've been playing drums since I was little and played in bands through most of the 90's. I got an electronic kit a few years ago so I could keep chops up without keeping the neighbors up. I'm gonna get a new acoustic set again soon though because I wanna start another band. I'm pretty much a hardcore and metal guy exclusively. Here's what's in the pic:

    - Roland V-Drums TD-6SXT
    - DW7000 double kick pedal
    - Alesis MultiMix 12 Firewire mixer
    - Alesis Photon X25 midi controller
    - Samson Rubicon R8a monitors
    - Macbook with Logic Express 8

Heres my latest addition, an ESP Explorer, a nice guitar for the money:

Here is my old Epiphone SG, nothing special, i use it for bluesy kind of stuff

Heres my acoustic, an Ovation "something or other"

and my amp, a peavy delta blues. I think it's quite good, it sounds "ace" with my SG

    I like guitars... a lot.

    My amp named Jim.

And I'm an old school pedal guy.

    Nice taste in amps

Here's my live rig for the past year:

'67 SG Special RI -> Korg Pitchblack -> Analog Man modded TS9 -> LM308 Rat -> Carbon Copy delay -> 1962 Fender Concert.

hey guys, I don't mean to ruin the flow here, but I wanted to say something.

I am NOT a fender guy, I will probably not ever own one. However, I could easily fall in love with either of these two. Especially the blue one. They are great.

I've been meaning to post my gear for a while. Most of you have seen my gibson V though.
