My girlfriend and I bought our first guitars today.

      Hers - Fender Sonora SCE
      Mine - Fender T-Bucket 300CE

A friend of mine does lessons and is hooking us up. Half price plus some beer. We're heading over for our first lesson in a bit with some New Castle. Can't wait

Picked up my first guitar. Yamaha Pacifica 112V with 1 humbucker and 2 single coils. Old Violin Sunburst in color with a white pick guard and rosewood fingerboard.

Got it with a 15W Fender practice amp. I'm really happy with both so far, just practicing scales and chords and playing to a click track. My brother's been playing for 20 years so I've got my share of material available for learning.

Also, since I got this, I've been having more fun with my Peavey bass guitar as well

yea the decent ones are kinda hard to find. i also just picked up a SX jazz copy lefty for 70 bucks, that thing plays great and good through a tube, might upgrade the pickups but other than that its an amazing deal

Bought this today, It's a '92 Warwick Streamer Stage II 5 String... Got it for an excellent price - In the market for an amp right now.

I've got a bunch of high end vintage audio gear I'm clearing out, restored Marantz 4270 - better than new condition; Pioneer SX-5590, 8/10; Concept 16.5, 8/10 cosmetically - 10/10 function. Various high end vintage speakers: Rectilinear Research, AR, Kenwood, Infinity, McIntosh, Leslie 251. PM me for details, clearing out to finance home theater upgrade.

    7. 03-08-2010 11:28 AM #182
I totally forgot I had this - I was visiting my parents and they asked me if i wanted my "speaker" back.

      yes please! (not my pic)

Marshall Master Lead Combo 5010, 30w amp, 12" Celestion Speaker, 75w capable.

It's a solid-state amp that sounds pretty good until you want it "loud". Terrific for recording, not so great for cranking it.

I used to double-mic it, front and back (rear mic phase reverse).

Sorry for the crappy cellphone pics it's all I have for now!

Finally caved in and traded my Traynor YCS100 head with the matching 4x12 cabinet for this 2006 US deluxe Strat. I really didn't need a half stack and I'm really happy with my new guitar!

2006 Godin LG Signature with the stock seymour duncan jazz neck PU and a DiMarzio ToneZone bridge PU

Ibanez RGT42DX with a DiMarzio X2N bridge PU

and my 7-string Ibanez AX7221 that used to be a bland shade of grey... I stripped the paint off and refinished it in tung oil

All this played through a POD X3 and a crappy 20Watt epiphone bass amp. I'm thinking of building a tube amp based on a Marshall 18watt as a project this spring/summer.

Yeah the picture doesn't really do it justice though!! I love that guitar... the les paul inspired body shape, a sweet and somewhat beefy mahogany neck that plays like a dream (it's a 25 1/2 inch scale C shaped neck, so it feels similar to the Strat's neck although the fingerboard radius is flatter). 2 humbuckers with 5-way switch, locking tuners, yada yada it's a really versatile guitar.

      Totally rearranging the studio (again).
Felt like snapping a pic before the new 3-tier gets put in its permanent place.

      Foreground T-B:

      Siel DK80 (first pro synth)
      Roland JX-305 Groovesynth
      Yamaha DX7

      From R-L, T-B:

      Audio Technica MB1000H mic

      Korg Triton Pro 76
      Korg OASYS 76
      Yamaha DX100 (in bag)

      M*Audio Bx5a monitors
TC-Helicon VoiceTone "Correct" and "Create" pedals
      Presonus HP4 headphone amp

      Electrix Warp Factory vocoder
      Furman PL-8
      Alesis MicroVerb 4
      Digitech MIDI Vocalist
      E-MU Planet Earth
      Korg X3-R
      Kawai MAV-8 MIDI patchbay
      Tascam PB-32B patchbay

      AKG Perception 220 mic
      Alesis MultiMix 16 USB 2.0
      Yamaha MT100 4-track

      Korg ESX-1
      HP Pavilion Elite PC
      Dell Studio 17 laptop

      Ensoniq Mirage rack (on desk)

It's a mess right now, but I'm in the middle of rearranging.
The wires will be cleaned up/tied down (gotta love velcro ties!)

Nice dolemite! I fiddle with one of those amps the last time I was up in Seattle at Emerald City Guitars, I really liked it.

      Thanks!

Its just retarded how loud the Hiwatt is, i cant imagine how the 100watter is

      Pedals are.. (L-->R)

EB volume pedal (used as an expression for the IPS-33B)
Skruffy Fuzz (my DIY fuzzface with mods)
      Toadworks Mr. Squishy Compressor
      Bender Buffer (DIY buffer)

The other 2 items are the R2Du footswitch and the foot controller for the IPS-33B..

A huge mess... but stuff should come together in the next few weeks.

Need bass traps, some diffusors, and some furniture.

      What's here:
3x screens (4th on the way, have to re-jig the layout)
      Korg M1
      VXT4's (pair)
      10S Sub
      Jerker Desk
And most importantly - Computer is in a different room so i can't hear a thing!!!

Not a very good picture of it, but this is my kit:

      Specs:
      1957 (Chicago badged) Slingerland
      -22x16 kick
      -13x9 rack
      -16x16 floor
      Snare(pictured): 1963 Ludwig Pioneer 14x6(6lug)
Snare(that I actually play with): Pork Pie Big Black Bob 14x6.5(8 lug)

      Cymbals:
      -21" Zildjian Sweet Ride
-20" Vintage Zildjian Ride(1974) (used as crash in this pic)
      -14" Meinl hand-hammered hats
      (Not pictured)
      -19" Meinl Crash
      -18" Meinl China

I love my kit! I use all Remo heads and Vic Firth X5Bs. As far as hardware goes, I have all Ludwig stands excluding my hats, which is a DW5000(not in this picture) and my kick pedals are DW7000s.

I've been playing for 13 years and this is my 4th kit and definitely the best one I have ever owned! I love solid shell kits sooooooo much!

      I like your set-up dolemite.
I'll have to take some new pictures of what I've been playing out with and recording with lately.
Just got the reissue A/DA Flanger from musictoyz and it is ****ing badass, combined with the moog ring mod and maxon analog delay...forget about it!
I run stereo amps as well. - small tubers.
Can't get enough of my PRS lately, either.

Thanks, its crazy for putting some effects after the delay in one branch and then different pedals in the other branch, I can run one clean and compressed and the other dirty, this is way more fun than another old pedal
