    lol I cant believe that thread got locked, we went all last year, even with all the OSU vs Mich junk without getting locked. Now a couple of fans from the Big East of all places roll in and get us the lock. Wow.

    Those East Coasters... no class. Who'd have thought that the huge rivalry between two perennial football powerhouses would've been the demise of that great thread? Alabama/Auburn?? Georgia/Florida? UM/Ohio State? Texas/Oklahoma? Nope. Rutgers/UConn.

    It certainly is a new milennium.

    And Rice is as good as gone. Unfortunately IMO, last year was his crowning moment at Rutgers. It ain't like they're gonna win a national title next year if he sticks around. Nothing more for him to prove there and his stock isn't ever going to be as high...

    I grew up in Grand Rapids, but aside from the Wolverines, I was more of a GVSU fan. I never followed WMU all that much.

    The Ray Rice talk had me curious, so I checked some sites that do projected drafts: http://www.google.com/search?h...draft. Although they are totally speculation at this point, they are fun to check.

    I was at the number of sites that didn't have him in the first round. Totally not what I expected. One site even had him in the third round. Huh?

    I wonder if he isn't a projected first rounder if he would stay around.

    Rutgers still has the potential to do well. They have three games left and they seem to be against weaker teams.

    as for Rice's draft status - id take him - nice bull dozer of a back

    McFadden will go higher but next year he will have to contend with Chris Wells - so he might as well just take his 1st round money sooner
