I volunteered since no one else had up until then plus I'm out of work and was going to come out of pocket anyway for the stickers...because I knew I'd recoup most of it if not all of if that day at the show minimizing the effect of not having that in my account for that amount of time.

Since my car won't be ready for the show its likely I won't attend.

That being the case...fronting out a significant amount of money and not seeing people to either give them the stickers or recoup my money before or at the show it became a situation that no longer made sense.

If anyone besides yourself questioned me on this, I would have ignored it but since I respect you I figured respond.

FWIW, I'm still in motion with the sticker thing.

I'm in touch with Isgro to make it happen. The other two guys aren't panning out as thought, one won't respond and the other guy flat out refused to do the new design. I'm still waiting to hear back from him with a quote on the old design Eric did from last season we all agreed on. Probably just gonna roll with Isgro though since he can meet up with someone like MF so they can't be distributed.

    I like.....

This is the only thing I'm worried about, but not really stressing it.

This is how to do them if anyone has some extra time to kill. Not bad at all for me at least. It seems easier to lift the cab off then lower the engine and trans in a touareg. This is a 7 vid series from start to finish.

That's pretty much the only way to do them. I heard people bash the firewall in to do them instead of removing the cab. I could probably get the cab off in 2.5-3 hours my first time after watching these. Then prob get the heads done in 4 hours. It honestly doesn't seem that bad really.

Don't forget me buddy. In for a couple for sure. I'll even Paypal the dough up front if it helps out.

You should still come and hang out even if your car isn't ready. I mean, you don't just show up for the trophy, do you? lol Plus you have to want to see Erics car all done right? Looks pretty nasty in the build pics.

    so who's missing?
I was hoping to have a solid count before friday IF POSSIBLE.
Anyone ordering but not going to the show?

BTW in lieu of my design that is proving to too expensive to run ($170+ for a minimum run of 250) I'm going to give out 3 stickers in either black or white of Eric's old design.

Size is a little smaller than 4x5in, haven't heard the final size (so not to waste vinyl for say an extra half inch).

I was going to order 25 black and 25 white for a total of 50
15 people (so far) want some.
3 each for a total of 45 spoken for
    5 extras.

I'm waiting to hear back from Isgro still with his price.

The estimate from that one guy came back at $60-$75 depending on the re-size and final sheet count. That's a per sticker price of $1.20-1.50 making it $4-5 a piece for your pack of 3.

    Sound good to everyone?

I'd still rather have the lift at my work remove the cab. Or if I get the thing tell the dealer they sold me a truck with blown head gaskets and have them do it. I'm pretty sure they could use the work and I could use the gaskets done for free.

once I place the order I'll drop my paypal email address.

As of right now, after adding Dave and Chops, 17 people x 3 = 51 stickers.

that being the case...I'll bump up the order to 75 now giving some room for extra or just hand out 4 of each.

I'm not, it's kinda hard to not notice some $100K + cars in front of you. That place was like a compound. Benz, BMW, Bentley, Porsche, Audi. Like a little town. No one came out to me which I liked but I wanted to take the truck for a rip. Continued to look at it and just got a bad feeling somehow.

edit...I pulled the trigger early for the following reasons

    1. Price was right.
    2. Time restraints
    3. Tough getting responses
    4. This guy had everything in stock.
    5. 12 extras allow for 3 people to get a 4set or 6 people a 2set
