On the recall about the coils. The dealer will replace 4 coils for free one time.

The ecu thing, does the ecu have a immobilizer delete. Your going big turbo, right? Dont cheap out on your software. You will end up wishing you had the higher end software. Go with Unitronics, Revo, or APR in that order. All 3 have adjustability that you will need. I have Revo, its pretty good but I used to have Uni and that was the best. No check engine light ran alot smoother specially with A/C on.

Kathy - you can bring the Passat...but it better have some Benjamins in the glovebox

Anyway...the new dub won't find a home here..just temporary residence while I fix the engine and post it for sale. It's a 2000 Jetta turbo/auto.

Ok, so I finally got the Maf sensor out of the housings with those crazy 5point security screws.

But it looks like something might be missing. Like a resistor or something, you can see the printed picture, along with the contacts for it. I hope my engine/turbo didnt ingest it.

I am almost positive that a "Glass thermistor" is supposed to be there, I guess @ 20psi that turbo sucked so hard, it got a bit, hungry and decided to destroy that thing, this is how its supposed to look...

if it got sucked in...even at idle...it would ****er up a blades INSTANTLY. There is no place for anything but air to go.

It would probably make it thru but I bet there is a dent on atleast one blade if it did.

As always one of the swap I WILL do one day is forced induced watercooled powerplant in an aircooled beetle. And it's real simple why...it is a WASTE to spend crazy ass amounts to build an aircooled powerplant to get to 300hp or whatever when it can be done for a FRACTION of the cost with watercooled engines. Anyway...

I saw these two tonight and immediately thought of Nate. Two motors he likes...

And after a little research I found that 2.5 Suby swap is making 395 WHEELhp

Now I'd have never thought of that....a G60 in a bug that is the poop.

and the subie engine, well that is all too familiar...

Ordered a rebuld kit today from forge, didn't realize stateside they are located in Orlando Florida.

    Jason,

Your christmas present just paid for my online registration for Bio 315. Much appreciated...

My books + registration for online homeworks totaled over 900... Solution, Don't buy Macroeconomics = save 200. Don't buy Microecon = save 200. Buy everything else on Half.com/amazon.com = Save 150. Use big bro's gift to pay for Bio registration = save 20...

And now my grand total is approximately 330.

BTW, had to change a headlight last night, colorado is icy cold, thank god for dude at Advanced Autoparts, that was the most complicated thing ever. Got the SilverStars though. Shined really bright.

    -Brandon

My buddy just got out to Wyoming to go to school. He said it's frigid there. Not that shocking considering the low will be 18* tonight here - and I have to work outside 4pm-4am all week. Might be able to get out of this excercise though because my grandfather down in Tampa has a 103* fever at 98 yrs old so it's not looking good.

Yup... this guy has a girlfriend, And she's a totally classy broad!

    SO, here's my day...wake up @ 0430 to get ready for work...yay!!!

So I get out to the rado, its got like 1/4 tank...no worries.

So I get about 5 minutes down the road and sputter sputter...D.E.A.D.

Great, so I push it another 1/8 mile to th shell (all along with -2 toe and camber) so it feels heavier than the Jetta....Oh and its like 28. So I sit in the car for an hour. Wait, finally old boy shows up...Love it.

Jason... got your message, I a doing allright, busy fabricating some cool stuff @ work till like 1845.

Thats cool, I might try and grab it this week with dereks dakota, I need to use the oil pan from that vr to tap for an oil return line...if not I will stillbe needing your assistance!

Nate I think I need a decoder to figure out your message. It's like one long tweet

So anyway...do you need help getting the Rado home?

When you get a chance...I'd still like to get some of that 1/4 aluminum plate. Doesn't have to be cut down...I can do that...as long as it's atleast 5X5.

Also...did I ever give you my spacers? I forget.

Anyway...let me know what's up. You can call or text me tomorrow. l8r.
