I know Andrew, don't get me wrong, a new turbo does 0-60 in 2.7, and looks great doing it. But I gotta be real, I could never afford one, and wouldn't want the headache of maintaining one even if I ever did get $$$.

Installed the mk1 belts, adjusted fuel/idle and pushed the deez to 90 yesterday A bit of smoke still, but idle is much smoother and engine is overall quiter.

    EDITL: 205, it is mine.

I forgot to mention what I saw yesterday. First I had a gangster ass white kid pull up next to me bumping some rap music loud as hell and he kept looking over at me to see if I was looking at his ballin' ass ride, as I pulled off I saw a Kia badge on the grill. Then I saw 2 dudes in a Boxster with the top down looking too cool for school. Yeah Porsche makes it, but it still has the same appearance as 2 dudes rolling in a Miata. I got a laugh out of both.

    Matt Norf,

    Check these...

    http://www.ecstuning.com/News/MKIV_W...nteringPlates/ If I still owned a mk4 I would totally buy these. But Alas.. I don't

Got a ridiculously good offer on the diesel today, funny thing is I hadn't even advertised it. I think I really like this car and plan on keeping it around a while.

Sam, I ALWAYS go to Ztire express on bemiss. Every vehicle I have owned gets done there. I usually drop them off,and pick em up l8r. My 18's on my 24v set me back 60 bones 4 mount/balance and valve stems. I never had a leak from them. Dang thing sat for 7 months and I hopped right in it and drove around

FWIW My 15's only cost 30. They deal with donk wheels all day long and never scratch em. /praise

I've use Z tire like 3x now. They told me one price, then slipped in an extra charge when we went inside. Instantly decided I'm not going back there. Plus, I think the people I dealt with might dabble in meth.

The first 2 time it was cheap, fast, and they did well.

    Matt,

Id be willing to bet it would limit if not remove the rubbing when hard bumps are hit/ stuff is in the trunk...not to mention it technically extends wheel base.

Went to pipkins today to order some parts...needless to say that I will never do business with Billy, the subie parts manager EVER again!! Sean the old guy stepped out for lunch, and Billy, the incompetent parts manager felt like helping other customers whilst I was trying to give him part #'s. He'd ask for a number, then blow me off mid part# and ask what other people needed as they walked in... SO I walked on out. /rant

THEN the deez nearly burned to the ground. Kinda just laughed at that though. Easy fix, stupid ignition to pump wire chaffed through and began arcing out on the injector line I went into full blown panic mode when I saw the wire glowing/burning..Ripped it off with my bare hands. Thankfully I own 'merican cars, and drove the jeep back to work

Not much going on, unfortunately. Apparently I have ruptured another disc in my lower back. (This makes the third, I've had 2 surgeries..) Hurts like a mother and is limiting my working on anything.

I did get my 4" narrowed/adjustable front beam and dropped spindles. Need to blast some parts and paint them. I hate not being able to work on it. Some days it feels okay, but then I try to do some stuff and it kills me. Oh well. I've had 3 Dr. appts with my neuro surgeon and we're devising a game plan. He is really interested in what's happening with my spinal cord injury and how it's affecting me 24 years later.

    Dave,

Duder, hadn't heard from ya since that storm. Was kinda worried if I am honest. Rob, already found at least two other individuals that want to move in asap to garage, so no worries there.

I am tentatively out on 27 April. With a scheduled 161 days in country. I was cleaning, organizing, and labeling everything at the garage. I am not going to rush the corrado. In fact, I plan on having it re-sprayed while I finish the motor/trans...when I return. Also plan on seeing some Recaro seats (looking at A8's or OE porsche GT2) and some sort of sick arse staggered wheels. I love the ats I have now, just want a second set of shoes

Jason I can't thank you enough for helping me with my coilovers man. They drive great and everything has settled in nicely. In other news tires should be getting ordered today and talked to ztire and the said 40 bucks all of them mounted and balanced!

That damn tornado went between our place and the neighbors! My brother, Sandra and I were in my shop. SAW the tornado go through the field south of our house, maybe 100 yards from us! Crap was flying around like crazy!! Scared us a bit!
Went by fast too. I saw a big pine tree get twisted off at the base just across the road and then saw the rotation coming across the road and into the field. It was probably 150 ft wide or so. It went straight down the pond south of our place and tore up the trees where the woods start.

Need to hook up with you Nathan to get you some $$ before you leave!

...my North Designs computer has been FLAWLESS since it was built on my kitchen table

in other news...pilot had no video in the cockpit for his Maverick yesterday. After tossing some new stuff at it I pulled out the wiring schematic. After an hour of trouble shooting we found the problem...Avionics ****ed our harness the night before working on their stuff. Great job specs (jabs Rob)

It is true, most of my former co-workers I wouldn't let change my oil let alone work on an airplane. I am just glad there are still weapons guys that can do wiring and trouble shooting.

Jason, Gun barrels, done. I did not personally cut them, other shift did. They are to length and look GREAT.

I bought this a few weeks ago, straight redneck, but alas it has awesome compression, 4wd, 5 spd and its already trashed so no need to worry about the body...Perfect river/shooting vehicle. Photobucket
Also did an LED mod, deffo going to do this to the rado when it comes time. Photobucket

And finally, tonight I made these...I know my history and am not a ri-tard. Thinking about using one of each for grille badges Ok so maybe just the gear one. If anyone is interested I made a TON of the gears, all in stainless and with a diameter of 2.750" LMK!!
