I found a 95 Jetta xflow in Jacksonville with 49,000 miles on it... one of us might jump on that. Yeah it's a mk3, but it's almost 13 years old with 50kmi... lysholm.

Anyway...we were at a red light but I told him about the autozone GTG.

Anyway...if you do organize something I'm sure we will be able to get a decent watercooled following. There were 8 or so dubs and I know a few more to come yet. And that's just who we've meet in the past few weeks.

All - the lowdnes county code enforcement got a phone call from one of my bitch ass neighbors so I have some shuffling around to do Today I tagged the sleeizel and the rocco but I still have the 79 and 84 so I gotta put up a privacy fence within 30 days or they will fine me $500 for each car!

So yeah...time to thin the herd.

There isnt much info on the car show at SGMP so not sure what to expect but the way I see it is if I am going to go anyways might as well show the car.

yeah I agree about the thing at SGMP, don't know what to expect myself. Plan to drive by and see how many drag cars are in the lots, before I pay to get in on Saturday.

That is cool that you are coming to the Silver Dollar Showdown. It is a pretty big show and lots of fun. We usually have a bunch of Watercooled show up.
Got to get some more information together on the site and then I will make posts in Vortex about it.

Also, heard from our friend that we are having a VW Gathering on March 1st at his place. Supposed to have some bands as well. He lives out by Hambrick's Tree Farm off Cat Creek. When I have all the info, will let you guys know.

Well I went to SGMP today and watched lots of Drag Racing, actually I don't think it is even over as I make this post! They were only going into their 2nd round of eliminations when I left at 9:30!
Don't think we will be heading out there tomorrow, got to get plenty of stuff done around here tomorrow!
If anyone wants any flyers for the show, I will have some next week and will have them out at Davis Imports.

Kathy do you know if the Dyno Day in conjunction with the Silver Dollar event allows watercooled to make dyno runs. I didnt see anything on the forums or flyers.

I don't think they have ever even had one ask about coming to the event. So it has always been Aircooled.
