I got a CEL on my way home from work tonight. I think it's a MAF, but does anyone have VAG-COM so I can be sure?

I have a VAG-COM. I keep it with me, as well as my laptop...I work at Prince Chevrolet if you ever need to come by, I'll be glad to scan your car for the trouble code..

We have a MKV Jetta and a 2007 Eos on the lot right now, of course I had to check 'em out and drool over 'em...

We had already checked those out, when we were thinking about a new car, but both are automatics. Lonnie isn't to hip on anything Automatic from VW! I guess that goes back to his days working on them at Davis Import on Bemiss!
We just bought the Black 2005 Scion XB that was on the lot. Although it really didn't make it all the way over to the used lot though. Lonnie spotted it in the mechanics bay when it first came in. So much more room for my two boys in the back with the 3 year old! That is why we have the 92 Jetta up for sale.

I will stop by sometime and say hello.

I forgot to say.. At the Chrysler dealership on North Valdosta rd. there is a perfect black R32... If only I had the extra $200 a month for the payments.

My room mate has a huge 08' f-250 with a trailer so I am convincing him to take me down. This weekend I am going up to Atlanta becuase my buddy is buying a 89' Prelude the guy with the turbo 00' Prelude and hopefully pick up my mountain bike.

robin - my welder is a 115. It's the largest 115 you can get. Still capable of sheet metal up to 1/4 inch thick. I used it tonight

spotted a GORGEOUS beige/cream colored oval window bug on base today. It had a raised W-decklid and some polished rims.

I tried to jump in my car and flag him down but I lost him!

Anyway...it was nice to see a vintage aircooled cruising around. Pretty brave to drive a pre-57 on the street

Oh yeah...I welded last night and I feel great about it. new motor for the 79 starts this weekend....

I have to work normal hours tomorrow - they haven't said anything about Sunday yet... but I can't work on Sunday because I am going to mids and I need to be off 12 hours prior to my shift. If they make me come in until noon I will flip ****.

Damn AF ruined a few weekends in a row for me! This was going to be the first weekend I bring out the 16vT to a show but oh well.

In other news...the 79 is losing it's heart tomorrow.

And also...I'm on the look out for a new car. Here's a little list I'm considering:

98/99 Audi a4 quattro 1.8t 5 spd
01 Golf GLS 4 dr 1.8t 5 spd
mkV GTI 4 dr 6spd
....

And lastly... I spotted a slammed mk4 silver jetta at the gym today with a plaid headliner and vwvortex sticker on the driver side window. Anyone know him?

hey i met up with a couple of the guys that came up to tifton from v-town.
Pretty good meet until the cops ran us off from 2 different places. Anyway the next big meet is going to be in albany if yall wanna make the drive up for it

I was up at Greg's today and saw your ads on the wall for the Jetta

Andrew has dibs on the Rocco currently.

16V swap in my 79 is 99% done. All I have left is install the new rims/exhaust that are coming soon and bleed the brakes.

I can't wait to see what it's like to go from 40hp to 140hp
