Went up to Nashville today in search of those rabbit trucks. I found one at a salvage yard that didn't have ANY other VW's!

It looked pretty beat so hopefully I can get it cheap. I just want to cut the bed off anyway. The good thing is it has some parts I don't need but could probably sell to help finance it.

Anyway...let's see some pics of the VR-T! I want a ride in it!!!

Yeah I really wanna see it. I had a 95 GLX back in the day. I would have liked to have kept it but it was an auto.

Anyway...leaving Busch Gardens today I found a place that was FULL of mk3/mk4's! I've never seen a shop/sales that was purely newer gen stuff.

Unfortunately the moped shop I knew off went out of business

Well that wraps it up for me.

sweet...I replaced the spark plugs in the Scirocco and I am still getting a misfire. I haven't popped the dizzy cap off to check it's condition yet though. Maybe I will take the mk4 to the track if it's not fixed.

a little misfire won't hurt anything. It's not optimal but it shouldn't stop you from ripping that little bugger.

I got out of work early and set to work finding the source of the misfire.... I am going to say it's because the hall sender wire isn't secured into the hole in which it belongs and the wire keeps on grounding out on the distributor. Also, a new cap and rotor wouldn't hurt. Then it should be running tip-top.

update: I just drove the Scirocco around for 20 mins without any hint of a misfire.

    ... e30? 944? Audi?

    Come on man, spill it.

I found a chipped ECU for my Jetta today for $300... but it's in Montreal. Same ECU code, so I am hoping it is the same thing.

I know this is kinda off the subject, but does anyone know how difficult it would be for me to change my own front struts and strut bearings? I know I need an alignment afterwards, but I might be able to do it after hours at work on the lift and then drive just down the street to get an alighnment the next day...

It's cake - I've done mk3's a **** ton. You probably don't even need the special tool for it.

    Not hard at all.
    Remove wheel,
    remove strut
    R&R it.

I saw one of your mk4's at the rim place yesterday. I was going to introduce myself but the lady and I were on a schedule.

Anyone going out tonight? I'd REALLY like to a see a mk3 turdblow there...HINT HINT HINT.

If you can ride a pink Pouche, I could rock a pink helmet. The size might not be large enough to accommodate my melon.
