I think just the opposite. I've been addicted to using the 50 for cars. A few examples of mine below:

personal question. what are your settings? F stop, iso, FPS and etc... im still learning the 50mm and im about to buy the 40mm pancake for my canon. Fixed zoom is killing it. not for me, just whoever else uses my camera. "WTF i cant zoom out," yes, its because you need to know how to take an honest photo.

Kyle- F stop varies, but generally 2.0-5.6. ISO 100 due to the intense sunlight coupled with the more open apertures. FPS (Frames Per Second)?

After that, editing in photoshop. I try and shoot for a natural looking edit, no HDR or weird effects.

It's a bit more than that.

Contrast obviously, but saturation is either bumped very little or not at all in nearly all of my photos.

Went looking for fall colors after work yesterday. Found a few "in the woods" shots but nothing outstanding. While I was doing that the wife and offspring found two deer legs and a ribcage. The ribs were from a much smaller deer and had a row of pine cones along the spine. The leg shot looks arranged but both were shot in situ. The leg was fresh - since the last rain at least - because there was still a decent amount of fur just out of frame on the right.
