    I know its not truly on topic, but has anyone picked up and played with the new canon 40mm pancake? Played around at h20i with mine and had a blast

    What bodies are you guys using? I'm using a D3000 with the old school film Nikkor. No AF.

    Question above is related to the way "out of focus" look. I've been creeping around and have noticed that the photos here have a much cleaner look.

    Case in point. Here's a photo I did not to long ago at a car show. If you look at the area out of focus, it feels very distracting. I may be overthinking it, but I just want to know you guys have anything.

    Looking at this one today I might have been a little heavy handed with the dodge tool. I'll play with it some more I suppose. The halo on her left arm is bugging me now.

    Would love to setup here and do an overnight into sunrise time lapse. Considering it was 13F when I took this one I might just wait until spring. This one could be sharper - my dumbarse just refuses to keep the tripod in the Touareg. Wind was blowing a bit so I rested the camera on a fence post. Tripod's in the car now.
